Then why do you need to explain ANYTHING if you can always throw "Destiny" to make it work, even Skeletal Liches!
"It was destined to have Skeletal Liches in Heroes 7" - Lich bio. It's makes just as much sense as a Peasant escaping death at the hand of 10K undead.
I'm done on how nonsensical is to explain ridiculousness with destiny.

The questions posed have serious implications for the lore.
This might have indeed been something that would warrant it's own thread, though it might be a bit late for that now.
Point is, we're at the point where debating eachother leads nowhere without official arbitation. Debating it further, untill this dead end is resolved is pointless.

We had an arbiter in Marzhin for some few posts but he stopped after hinting that suicide doesn't speed up the preordained lifespan, which I think is not accurate as "lifespan" represents the life of the body and not a hypothetical value. The only point where such a concept is relevant is AFTER you have ingested Namtaru venom. Case in point, Moander, where, had he not drank the vial, he would have surely died - and that is established lore.

The plothole in the destiny is that they are destined to drink the venom, so they don't have a "real" death

I will stop the debate from my side for now. People seem bored by it and I was asked to. Only one thing for Stevie - you may replace the word "destiny" by the word "luck" if you have problems with the fate concept.
So lets talk about something else. Here, I have a topic. Do we have confirmation that necrospiders are Undead?

The blame's all mine, and I sorely regret it. If it's the last thing I do, I'd hope to reemerge with a badass finished version, by and by.

Meh Something I expected realy. I mean. It's not a complete game and has no RMG ... Maybe if you do not own it yet, but there's complete edition on GoG available so ...
I am personaly not too fond of HD remakes. Mods can fix that for you. It's the same as with AOE II HD - that one came with expansion tho, so it was better.
