Well creating a full MMO (not a browser thingy like Heroes Online) Actually demands a lot time and resources and is a considerate risk to both developers and publishers, so i doubt that Ubi would want to make a Might and Magic MMO, at least in franchises current state.
Watching the map and re-reading some lore articles have actually made me think of making a short Tabletop RPG campaign it it. Probablt with D&D 5th Edition rules, although its going to need some reskinning and houseruling for Ashan or Savage Worlds rules (also going to need some work)

Marzhin said: There was never any mention of Inferno as a DLC. Actually, there has never been any official mentions of DLC, period. I don't know where this rumour comes from.
Which doesn't mean we will never bring back Inferno at some point in the future -- anything's possible, but nothing's decided, either. Right now our focus is the base game.
Marzhin put on this map all cities, place of interest, etc. from all Ubisoft's games in Ashan: HoMM5, HoMM6, Clash of Heroes, Duel of Champions, Dark Messiah, MMMX, cancelled Raiders (only Heroes Online are missing... for now). That's why you have Sanctuary and Fortress - they are on the map because of H5-6, DoC and Ashan Compendium.
EDIT:
Also Academy's Magic Heroes.

Man, I hope that staff is not made out of pure gold or the mage class will soon have arms like orks.
Also, what's with the incense burner on the shoulderpads of the male magic hero?

So what, artworks are over the top? What a surprise!
I find hilarious that in both Alchemists and Wizards descriptions it says they focus on Water Magic, yet none of them have Water Magic as starting skill (instead Paragon). It's so weird

The magic heroes look pretty nice(ok not really much to see for the male one),not really surprising that every class seems to specialize in different elements and that basically every element is represented among a class(although some aren't counted towards the main skills)
Kinda weird though how the wizard class only mentions their skills in 2 classes of magic, while the others list at least 3 kinds of classes(battlemage is good in fire, air and dark, while the enchanter is good in earth, light and prime magic, but for wizard they only mention prime and water)
I mean if anything I would have expected the wizard class to be the best when it comes to magic.

More rich people. Wielding magic this time. Cinderela's glass shoes? pfff that's nothing. These Academy mage girls have style ... they walk in golden shoes
I understand it's alchemy. But are there any laws on how much one can use alchemy? Otherwise I can't immagine the inflation rates in Ashan, it must be ridiculous.
And unfinished artwork of males suggests, they have a jetpack on their back. Now I know it's not most likely not jetpack, but if there is ... how cool would that be. You may think it's stupid idea ... but imagine if they literaly gave'em jetpack ... it would be awsome.

Surprised and disappointed by the lack of variety in Academy's heroes. Only apparent difference between Blademage and Battlemage are "Blade/Battle" descriptor and "Prime/Air" Magic. Only apparent difference between Alchemist and Wizard are their names and "Economy / Prime Magic" as their next skill. Enchanter... just take any of the Prime Magic classes and replace the last skill with Earth Magic.
Just saying, Haven had a lot more variety. You'd think the Silver Cities would be more diverse in their skill set.
And WTF is with the massive gap between fluff description and gameplay skills?

I'm ok with Academy heroes. There is nothing disappointing and also nothing especially surprising. They are masters of magic, so nothing new could have been invented for them. Waiting for next week and Necro theme.

I just expected the magic classes to use, well, different forms of magic from one another. They mention things like Water Magic and Dark Magic, yet none of those appear in the default movesets.

I just want the blade mage to not have prime magic as one of its main skills. With six different hero classes I should be able to pick one of those and focus on my army rather than spells if I want to.

At this point we know very little about the skill wheel or how it works. So there might not be a so massive gap between skills and their descriptions.
Most class descriptions seem to hint that heroes might have limited access to some skills or rather skill levels. I remember some article/blog post mentioning that magic skills have three ranks, called novice, initiate and master. The wizard is mentioned having access to master level water magic, being one of the few that actually gets that rank.
But why isn't it a main skill? One of the primary questions here is: what are main skills actually. We see that all heroes have their faction skill as one of their main skills. Are they starting skills or rather skills that give additional benefits/options/perks to classes that have them as their mains.
If so we can say that (for example) The wizard class gets most out of the metamagic, paragon and prime magic skills, but can also get full access to water magic, although without some additional "good stuff."
About names, well... naming 36 hero classes can get hard, but battlemage and blademage are abit too similar. I hoped the offensive hero is going to be elementalist, but maybe its not fitting enough. Sorcerer could be fine, but they are probably keeping it for the dungeon.

While I would love to get on to stronghold reveal already, I fear Haven and Academy faction videos, and Necro update will come first
