Thanks, now it's more clear to me
He confuses me with speed and stuff.
So, the answer is, that the initiative only is responsible for the "sorting", which creature has their turns after which.
Irrespective of that, every creature in their turn strikes first.

If I understand this correctly. Will the Wait button work like in older games where it basically reversed the order of units. or will it just postponed the order.
In simpler words. If I order all my units to wait, Will the order swith (A-B-C-D-E -> E-D-C-B-A) as it was in H3+, or will the order stay the same.

The lower your initiative, the better. That's how I understood it.

thanks, uh that's really weird though because what would the base/standard initiative be then? wouldn't it make the most sense if it were zero?

Phew... you ask questions... actually, I have no idea. Without any concrete knowing about that, I would say it will stay the same, but I can't guarantee it.
Maybe someone can tell me.

Hi!
I think i have reached a breakthrough in the matter of the townscreens. By simply squeezing the townscreen images from the sides we are able to correct most of the perspective issues and make them look much more crowded and town like. No more too separated buildings and lack of actual town spirit.
Only thing left to decide is the amount of squeezing. Obviously there is a limit to this. In the image below I have demonstrated the effects of an excessive squeezing:
So we must find the sweet spot for this method. I have approached the problem with a mathematical solution. By applying the “Fibonacci sequence” that appears all over in the world of nature we can find our way to the “Golden ratio”-rule of visual aesthetics. Below is the analytical and graphical form if the Fibonacci sequence. The golden rule is visually very impressive, as can be noticed from the real life example below.
By adding the golden rule vector to the original townscreens and squeezing them accordingly we are able to achieve some very nice looking and balanced landscapes.
The key to this is method is to let your eyes rest on the squeezed images for a while and then go back to the original ones and the effects of our work should be clearly noticeable.
So what do you guys think? Should we contact the team and get this in the game? We might need to sacrifice so other game mechanics or features from getting in the game (like simultaneous turns or new necropolis models), but wouldn’t it all be worth it in the end?

well indulge some speculation, suppose we end up with some future creature who is supposed to be much quicker than anything else (say a Phoenix for instance),
would we be able to go into negative initiative like -1 to represent this creature's absolute superiority or are we stuck on a scale of 1-10?
