Those armors are impractical as hell... they are literally inviteing the enemy to take a hit at their knees and elbows not to mention the obvious opportunity for crotch shots, though most likely their balls and ovaries have turned to dust long ago.
And why do we have to have spikes on every unit?
It hurts looking at them and not in the obvious spike-poking-out-your-eye way.

Looks better then H6 necro heroes. But the spikes are a bit off.

and boob-plates, because nothing says "practical" more than armor that will pierce your chest if struck with moderate amount of force!

lose the spikes and they'd be fine in my books.

I know it's not a boob-armour but this wonderful piece of black-smithing is shown in Tower of London:
There were special plates for penises so why shouldn't there be additional space for breasts? They diverge quite substantially from the rest of the body so some additional space for them is perfectly fine in my opinion.

They are H6 necropolis might heroes, in name and look. What is different, that H7's heroes have black armour (instead of green), more spikes, different helmet and scythe/axe instead of sword.

Hmmm, I've seen all artworks and got the impression of shinobi-style Nagas (basically ninjas), not swamp-style. Dark-grey clothes and spy mechanics.

while that armor is absolutely hilarious it doesn't also create a nail aimed straight at your chest. hit a boob-plate and imagine what happens to the middle of the chest? it gets pierced by the very plate meant to protect it. don't add cleavege is all. have some portrution for comfort but make the overall plate flat.
that problem doesn't really come up in the penis-armour as far as i can see.

I think these look pretty good. Sure they are overdesigned, but I guess I'm used to it. I like the design of the axe. At least they are not green

I don't know if you noticed but so is everything else.
I'm pretty sure evem the soles of their boots have souls vampires bound to them not to mention the spikes themselves which are the souls of liches that are also vampires.
Logical, isn't it?

And what should they be? Skeletons? Zombies? Ghouls? Spiders? 
Vampire is the highest (lore-wise) rank in Heresh, so no wonder that Necropolis heroes are vampires.
However, I am pretty sure we will see not only vampires as heroes but also some other races. Well, Belketh is still an Angel and there were some living humans in H5-6 or even Elves (Scatha or Luna).

Yea, I compared the two models and you are generaly right. But still there is something that even after that comparisom made me like these better. Maybe it is the less mono-color palet, Darker tones and the axe/scythe
