I almost hate when news posts because the forums I like to visit turn into a contest of one-upmanship to see who hate on the game the hardest.
Granted, I am not really sure why we got options as news today. I could understand it if they wrote at length about the ways to use the options to get the best performance out of the game given that so many people were alarmed by the system requirements. As they did not focus on that, I can only offer conjecture that it was an attempt to throw a bone to crowd that only wants blood.

As an side note, funny jokes people, I don't see the option to choose random skill on or off in the menus I would have expected to see it in Gameplay tab ... or wasn't implemented yet but considering it's a picture how hard can it be to Photoshop it ... maybe it's an option you choose before launching the map and there for a different menu altogether.

According to Ubi-Nox on the SC, this feature will be added to the/a "Game creation menu". Maybe that will be part of Gameplay, or a seperate tab. The 'work in progress' banner actually covers a possible tab space as you can see in the pictures, so maybe that part is reserved for this purpose.

Also, your screen says that there is no way to exit the screen, but there is nothing guarding the little red X-button on the top right of it :3. Shouldn't you put a spider up there to prevent anyone from clicking said button in an attempt to close the install wizard? 
Now that we are at it, shouldn't there be a seperate "Bash Heroes 7/Ubisoft here" topic, so we can keep the discussion thread clear of these side-jokes?

I am under the impression that some of that bashing is just for the sake of it. No matter what the article is about, skills or more practical information, people hate on it because....Because. Somehow their morale has dropped below zero and everything that leaves Dev Avenue is automatically disliked because previous information was also considered unsatisfactory. That's a kind of black/white vision, really. Some features may not be as good as others, but it may help to see the good things as well. Now people are only focusing on what's bad, without taking into account the things that may very well be of good use in the game.
It turned into something like "I hate it because I hate it". It becomes a vicious circle.

So far so good but coming and saying that this color scheme is once again chosen for the taste of Erwan and probably the great overlord is to blame for it is not criticism is bashing, and I feel is a bit tedious when vast majority of posts go this direction.
Take this as an example not a concrete mater but it can be applied to a lot of older post.

Hey, hey, guys, relax. Caricature is a pure sarcasm and irony, I don't bash them. Just consider explanations like: "Music: Set volume for music" as silly in the last article. So was trying to make fun of it.

Well, dude, I tried it with CAPS LOCK SHOUTING on SC after weeks of correct criticism but both ways didn't work lol.
So I'm just relaxed and having fun. And in case if I wanted to bash them, I see no problems with that since they have shown total disrespect by ignoring us at all. This stuff I don't respect. As I've said many times, they could answer with any stuff, even negative, but ignoring is such a bad thing especially when you are claiming that you develop the game with the community lol.

Random option will be on a game creation screen.

It is a 'sheep behaviour' people like to be in the 'herd'. Exactly why Sandro movement happened. Most people in it had no clue about the game. Just trying to belong. Conformism.

They couldn't, actually - reactions to the skillwheel design philosophy article are proof of that. It's an insult to disagree with you. It's arrogant of them to say they don't share your beliefs.
There's nothing wrong with ignoring people who impose their will on others and won't take 'no' as an answer.

i dunno. i call out whatever is bullsnow (the skillsystem is not something that is deserving of hate, mind) and praise when appropriate. there's just been so little to praise lately

The bashing of game play mechanics just gets silly However there is a lot of criticism that is more than warranted. everything around the skill system (not worthy of this much bashing, guys. cut it off) did bring out what a huge lie the shadow council actually was and rage about that is very justified. Rage against the skill system is harder to justify.
Keep in mind that Criticism should never stop. Criticism is good and necessary but a lot of what is going on is not criticism. it's just raging about changing game mechanics. Not worthy of getting your panties in a bunch.

I agree with this very much. People wouldn’t be able to say Heroes is not Heroes anymore if it was named something else (as it should be?). But Ubi would have to drop the rights for that, and I don’t see that happening, because they are still making money from it.

It's impossible to have a clear, objective judgement after being influenced by this community, I think. I believe that at this point literally the only ones capable of judging the game fairly are people who didn't have any contact with this fanbase - a type of fan I certainly wish I could be, as this community definitely left a stain on my experience with Might & Magic.

That's a contradiction by its very nature. "Objective judgement" is an impossibility, especially when it comes to criticism and fanbases.
EDIT: objectivity is an impossibility when it comes to games, period.
