Yes, but isn't that kinda obvious - first balance Might vs. Magic with all spell schools and combat skills. Things like necromancy, blood rage etc. should come later.

True... but the surroundings and the environment has been greatly improved in my opinion Just look at the grass and the fields
Also now the buildings are more clearly separated from each other and its easier to recognize what has been built and what is still there to build... Somehow more personalized buildings... before they looked all the same...
