During twitch I've asked them kinda 15-20 times if there any open beta or demo will be available but they traditionally chose the most retarded questions to answer LMAO.

Ubi-Nox is so nice today and answers people's questions, he posted recently descriptions for Metamagic, Fire spells and Light spells:
Metamagic
----------------------
Novice - Casting a single target hero spell on a creature under a magic effect triggers Magic Synergy:
Increase the duration of positive effects on friendly creatures and the duration of negative effects on enemy creatures by 1.
Master - Magic Synergy increases the duration of magic effects by 1.
Expert - Magic Synergy increases the duration of magic effects by 1.
1/ Soul-Vanishing Strike - The hero's attack also applies the debuff "Soul-VanishingStrike" on hit creatures. It reduces all stats of the creature by 1 for its next 3 turns.
Affects: Health, Initiative, Movement, Attack, Defense, min+max Damage, Morale, Luck
1/ Magic Exaltation - If a spell will trigger a Magic Synergy it will be cast with +8 Magic.
1/ Magic Attunement - If a spell triggered a Magic Synergy the hero regains 50% of the spell's mana cost.
2/ Magic Amplification - Every triggered Magic Synergy increases your Magic by 1 until the end of combat with a maximum of 10.
2/ Debilitating shot - The hero's Small Pyramid (attack warfare unit) reduces the defense of the creature hit by 6 until the next 3 turns of the creature
4/ Clarity - For every Magic Synergy triggered you have a 50% chance to get a second hero action this turn.
3/ Area Synergy - All spells of the hero trigger Magic Synergy.
Ultimate
Fire Spells:
----------------------
I/ Blessing of Arkath - Hero buff: deal damage to enemy stacks at the beginning of the next combat.
I/ Fire Bolt - single target damage
I/ Burning Determination - positive effect: Increase morale of target creature.
II/ Inner Fire - positive effect: Increase attack and initiative of target creature.
II/ Fire Wall - area effect: 1x5 on the battle map that deals damage to stacks at the start of the stack's turn or when they move into it, except flyers
III/ Frenzy - target stack instantly attacks a random adjacent creature (friendly or enemy) with a attack value modifier. Does not consume the target's action for the current turn. The attack is retaliated against with the normal rules.
III/ Fire Ball - area damage 3x3
IV/ Armageddon - damage to all stacks on the combat map
Light Spells:
----------------------
I/ Elrath's Conviction - The hero gets a buff increasing his Leadership and Defense.
I/ Heal - heals friendly stack, enemy undead stacks are dealt damage
I/ Sun Beam - single target damage
II/ Celestial Armor - positive effect: damage received is absorbed up to a fixed value
II/ Cleansing Light - removes negative effects from target creature

Not entirely. You could have an earlier closed beta, due to pre-orders, and then a later open beta. But, they don't seem to be doing much more than the 1 beta.
And I was half right about one of Metamagic's abilities giving a second turn. It allows for a second action... half the time.
Though I am confused by what is "Ultimate", since the 4 is written first, but Ultimate was written after. If I am reading it right, Master allows all magic to be Synergistic, with the GM being these now permanent Synergistic to be giving more turns.

The Ultimate is the one with "4" next to it.

playing on limited information by enticing people to buy early access to betas only to quickly trivialize that and start giving away keys left and right is a very common corporate tactic these days, so prepare to be disrespected lol

a bit late for that. besides, beta is the usual way for most companies to bring in some interest so you can bet your ass they'll have an open beta. probably starting about a week or two after the closed one.

Yes they could have another open beta later in development. With all factions and so on. That would not be disrespectful. And selling beta keys now isnt a problem, but it would be if they now handed them out for free.

It would be disrespectful for them to hand them out for free now that some people have preordered to have access to the beta, I agree there. The problem is that they made it so that only someone who had already committed to the game could preview it in the first place. It was an incredibly slimy and underhanded thing to do. To me it just reeks of them knowing that their product is not something to be proud of.
I left the twitch stream feeling like they wasted my time. They revealed almost nothing new and answered very few questions, especially the uncomfortable ones.

I think it will be limited to 2 actions per turn. Ogherwise this would be way too OP.

Well, then they need to boost it up to 60%, otherwise it won't compare to Havens GM.

Then would it not be better to wait for a free open-beta with more content to try the game.

Trying to figure something out regarding preorder bonuses. The Standard edition gives 4 portraits and 4 artefacts, the deluxe gives a new hero and a new scenario and more, but does not give the bonuses of the standard edition.

It does give them but they are not mentioned.
PS. In Poland there is a tradition to buy children on Internationa Children's Day some gifts. Because of that one of Polish chains of stores called Empik prepared a special offer for that occasion, which included some video games. Except obvious ones, like the Sims or Minecraft, there was also a selection of strategy games and one of them was Heroes... V. I find it truly heart-warming that despite its quite old age (it has 10 years!), it is still considered to be a game worth showing to the youngest gamers.
