Sorry guys, but I have to do this!
So there's a reason elves take Deers to Battle!!!!
When the Doe or the Stag dies, the Hunters gather the meat to eat after the skirmish!!!
That explains a lot!

Because I do,
Does do not grow antlers, so they are bound to look how they look. Unless they become Twilight Calves...

No.
Your judgement is best preserved. I have a hunch that both the dryad and treant will surprise us all in the end, regarding roles and skills.

I just have to ask, why is everyone against having a magical deer? How is it worse than a Magic horse (Unicorn)? People saying they would be useless in battle and all that. We can't know that already. A mighty and powerful stag with magical powers can be as good in battle as a mighty and magical Unicorn right? And it is fantasy, it's not earth.

Why not? ''fast damage dealer with supporting abilities'' Is what it is called in the lineup vote. I can see that, in both Moon Doe and Sun Deer. They are not ordinary does/stags. they are m a g i c a l. I think it can be just as dangerous as a white horse with a horn. And before anyone starts screaming that I'm bashing Unicorns or something, I love Unicorns as well, but I can still see how this could work as a unit.

Well, the upgraded version will be a stag at least. With antlers. But they cornered themselves with lore yet again:
"Among the strangest and most wonderful beasts found in the Forest Maze, the Moon Does and Sun Deers are actually part of the same species, called Twilight Stags. As it turns out, the females of this species are nocturnal, and while they don’t burst into flame when they are touched by sunlight (contrary to what the old nursery rhyme says), they prefer to come out at night, especially when Asha’s Moon is high in the sky. These Moon Does are sweet, peaceful creatures – but they are more than able to defend themselves if something or someone threatens their fawns. More than one poacher met a nasty end, trampled to death by vengeful Moon Does.
The males, on the other end, are diurnal creatures, taking their powers from sunlight. Sun Deers often sport spectacular antlers that always take shapes reminiscent of the sun or stars. Both males and females are magnificent creatures, radiating an appeasing and soothing aura. Needless to say, mating is a rather complicated affair for Twilight Stags, as the males and females can only meet during the short periods when both sun and moon are in the sky!"
But at least we know that mating is a real hassle for them...and that the sweet and peaceful does will VENGEFULLY TRAMPLE US ALL TO DEATH! Sneaky snows.

umm... what?
I said "A stag/deer yes" as in stag/deer can be as might and magic as unicron and I'm not opposing it
I'm saying No to Doe lol it doesn't even have antlers or anything, what's going to do ? bite or kick ?
It just should be a deer and even bigger deer with bigger antlers, like a true king of the forest, like this:

I don't like them taking away unicorns and phoenixes but then leaving pixies. It's not a mythical creature, which is what this game is suppose to be based on, other than haven. Putting a noun in front of an ordinary forest critter doesn't make it magical. Slyvan literally has nothing special now. I see elves, fairies, and terrible excuses for mythical creatures. Pegasus, unicorns, hyppogriffs, satyrs, are just a few better options than a typical treant...
And deer are apparently on par with units like knights on horseback, fighting tigers with 4 swords, Wyverns...etc. It's just dumb.
I see it as a 'new' unit that is aimed at easy to please fans.

I like the doe Its magical and therefore powerful. The huge creature you showed in the picture Minastir, is no longer a deer of any kind. More like a moose Could work thou... Starting with Sun Deer and upgrading to Moss Moose Anyways... the bambi works just fine too and you will learn to love it, im sure of it. The dryad doesnt seem too scary but its still believable, same as cabirs and magic birds and some others...

I actually rad that part too and im happy that they are not total vegans, but would they really eat something that fights besides them in the battle? Could you? Do Haven people grill the griffins when they are done? Or do the wizards go full Crocodile Dundee on the fallen Cabirs?
There is a plethora of normal things to eat in the forest besides the magical spirit creatures.

Well... if they elves are Indian in nature, then yeah, they probably would to show respect to the animal and not let it become wasted. It's all part of the harmony. Instead of letting it rot they would ritually eat it in order to honor its sacrifice, much to how a hunter will use all parts of the animal he kills to do the same.
In this case instead of killing the animal by hunting, you get it to fight for you but still you get it killed one way or another.
Although I started this as a joke, I do not find it so strange as I think about it...
