(Ignoring the currently absent Elite and Champion tiers)
Despite my misgivings about the Pixie/Sprite, the Hunter and Dryad look appealing, at least in terms of the artwork. Yeah, minor concern that Dryad and Pixie will have similar animations to Ghost/Djinn, but I'll wait until the proper models come into play. As for the "lol the Hunter looks like LOTR elves"... YOU ARE 1) BLIND, 2) STUPID, AND/OR 3) LOOKING FOR ANY EXCUSE TO COMPLAIN IF YOU ACTUALLY BELIEVE THAT!

I hope they don't make dryads (or hunters for that matter) large creatures. It would be nice to have a faction with only small cores.
Does anyone remember the size of stronghold's cores? Are they also all small? And what about stronghold's elites? At first glance they look al large to me?!

In regards to skirts:
As a practitioner of Aikido I know quite a lot about hakamas. Normally only black belts get to wear them as it can be quite hard to adapt your movements and techniques while wearing one...

Back to the topic:
Nice artwork on these creatures. But really I have to see their game models to make any judgements.. So far Pixie and Hunter both look great, but Dryad... Well... Could be more unique. It reminds me too much of mizu kami and water elementals.

If anything, I think they look more like Ithilien Rangers than Elves if we're going to bring in some LotR comparison .

1) With how petty some people are, it's hard to tell what's a joke or not.
2) "Having your share" doesn't mean people won't find every reason they can, legitimate or not, to whine about how much "Heroes is ruined", "Ubisoft sucks", "fire Erwan", etc.

When it comes to H7 I find it more problematic, that the game seems very unstable atm. All the signs show that it will be another H6: some good concepts trampled by various issues. And I'm afraid that the game, like H6, might be surprisingly forgetful (after I finished H6 Shades of Purple I didn't touch the game even once, and that's a serious problem cause I even went back to H5 a few times. I'm afraid that history might repeat itself with H7). I'm already past this whole Ashan is s*it discussion, cause it does not matter in the long run. Of course I can be disappointed with the line-ups (and I am, I think that aside from Stronghold maybe, they're the weakest in the franchise history), but that's my personal opinion. I'm more anxious about the games longevity...
Who am I to talk though, I don't even know if I'll play the game cause my "rig" might not be able to lift this graphical marvel...

Based on the description given previously, I thought they would be pretty much on equal footing. In fact, I thought that it would make Sylvan rather peculiar in that you would be able to upgrade Moon Does to Sun Deer (not Deers, Deer is both singular and plural, like Sheep  ) and Sun Deer to Moon Does. In essence, you swap one for the other, depending on what your army needs at that time. I would expect the Sun Deer to fill a different role in the army than the Moon Does.

In the end the replay value comes first indeed! Lets hope that wheel will get some fixes regarding randomness and let us to not end up with the same build over and over again..
By the way what if their plan is to reduce replayability so we buy dlcs all the time????

I never liked wood elfs but its a bit dissapointing we have 2 very similiar units in the same tier.
Do we have any information who is the best core creature ? I hope is the hunter, because so far all the strogest core are melee units (right?) so it would be a nic change

I am curious... Why do you say Dryad and Pixie are similar?
In the visual department i don't see it... They are distinct enough to say this is the pixie and this is the Dryad, it's not like Mizu Kami and water elemental or Pearl Maiden and Pearl Priestess that i never got to distinguish from one another.
As for the roles, I think Dryad will be more supportive with healing and entangle probably + the Treant or Mother Treant synergy, with Pixie being a mobile fast unit and also a flyer.
Dryad is also a spirit and thus far the info direct us towards an insubstantial ability for the upgrade. Maybe even the Spirit form ability of heroes VI.
So, please in all honesty, explain me how are they the same? 
PS: I voted for Perfect Balance because i wanted the Phoenix to come home. But i don't get why people shout Dryad and Pixie are the same nonetheless...

Given that "As Dryads are spirits, it is very hard to destroy them for good", I'm thinking that Dryads are gonna be more on the tanky side whereas Pixies will, as usual, be glass cannons...

It's been happening since h4. People find the smallest thing to complain about.
Another example- there's still the need to bring up female to male upgrades. Meanwhile, this isn't anything new as it has happened before with Rakshasas (5) and Genies (3).
Aaaaaaand cue "that's completely different" argument.
