Trent being a shooter is kinda dumb. This game is already extremely lacking in variety and now we have a third ranged champion. Ranged top tiers used to be unique and now half the factions have one. Meanwhile we have zero tank champions, and I mean actual tanks with high hp and defense and not just tough creatures. Hardly any tanks in the game at all and the only ones I can think of are cores. Maybe the mino will be the first elite one but who knows.
So with the lack of variety I don't see why they make hybrid roles like a tanks shooter. It's like making a flying shooter...pointless. Positioning the treant correctly and making good use of entangles to set up the blade masters would have been fine.

Who needs a classic Treant like in Heroes 5 with its boring gameplay when you can have the new one with a gameplay that no one expected! Get a load of that innovation!

I don't really know exactly why, but that "For Ashan" angered me far more than pretty much anything else they have done or said.
To me it feels spiteful of them, like they are specifically going out of their way to rub their world in our face. I don't hate Ashan as much as some others, but I don't need to be reminded every single article that they are the ones in charge and that they will do what they want, regardless of their fan-base.
I may be wrong, I may be irrational, but that really got to me.

You are being a little irrational.. They have to market the game to the new fans and establish ashan more. We don't matter that much since we are a very small and limited number of buyers. (Yet the most "vocal").

Hopefully demons will be in the expansion and conquer Ashan once and for all  so we can move on a new world hopefuly a better one

That actually is a good idea. A win win situation I get satisfaction that the demons won, everybody else will gwt rid of ashan!
Btw do we know the campaing heroes?
For the orcs it will be Imani?

All info about campaign heroes were introduced in facions (and beta) videos. So I guess we need to wait for next one to discover, who are missing next/three.

So exciting! I can't wait to level my elves, aka masters of earth magic, and increase my ranged treants hp so it can be even more tanky sitting behind my front line. Woohoo innovation!!
