Editor looks awesome, combines the best of H5 and H3! I had learned a moderate amount of scripting for H5, but often had a hard time with triggers and stuff which seemed excessively complex compared to H3 event orbs.
Also, Visitable Shell and custom battlefields will be extremely useful for story things/highly tactical battles.
Customized forest painting will also be a huge time saver, H5 fills were useful but limited.
Forced passability is an interesting idea. I imagine myself making castles you can walk through and all kinds of shenanigans.

You can actually add as many levels as you want, but you need to use the Advanced Mode.

Neat.
The new Lich carries a spellbook so prominently, and he uses it to retrieve a dark spell for an attack (or so it seems). Was it ever considered to make him a spellcaster, like in H5? The Archlich there has three spells at his disposal: Weakness, Decay and Suffering. "Hex of Disruption" is of course a spell, but only one.
Anyway, both the artwork and the models look awesome!

It's already been changed ingame, but indeed we need to change the names on the website as well. It's Vampire/Vampire Lord now.
Strange question Marzhin,
Is there any chance we may see the previous models of Lich and Vampire in game as Necropolis neutrals? Maybe with a different name and abilities?

WOW, it looks astonishing, both new models and editor as well. If it continues like this heroes 7 may be the heroes 6 we never had. Hat off guys
Also, it looks like that Sandro revolution was an astonishing success Also, Marzhin, now that liches are finally skeletal did our buddy, Erwan, finally changed that silly lore about liches transforming into vampires?

Look closer. They arent skeletal, just this time they actually look like properly embalsamed old corpses unlike the H6 lich who just looked like a white man with gren eyes

lol i hadnt seen the chest. Dissapoint at them breaking the lore for a few idiots crying, hope they're made Sandro or Naadir disciples to justify it

Indeed. It's a sort of win-win compromise between the skeleton look and the canonical description

Great news about the maps. Excited to hear about what kind of modding opportunities there are too.
So much of the game design is dictated around map design that a strong editor can make or break how the game plays. I intend on trying to craft some good 1v1 multiplayer maps as soon as I can for people interested in that sort of thing

If it was few idiots, why would Ubi even bother to start the side project of making redesigns?

So, we'll have a Map Editor, many modding possibilities, SimTurns and a RMG from the release. This game may turn out to be better than H5 ToE and even better than H3 (depending on how good the expansions will be). Great news for us all!

Even tough these are steps in the right direction, there is still a lot of stuff to be fixed...
@Marzhin: Is there no chance to change that lore? If not, can't the new liches be at least linked to Sandro/Void somehow?

If we can edit the game directly into Unreal Editor... does that mean that we have access to the source-code? Because if we can edit it with UDK we can access the source-code. That'd be great news indeed, however I find it pretty hard to believe, as having the source-code out for everyone may be bad for business if someone decides to "inspire". Or it's not really in Unreal, but some "bridge" software? That's what I bet it is.
