I also prefer it over h5 & h6. It is still an upgrade from h6, even if it's not a great upgrade...or even a good one. And if I didn't despise h5 art style and it's terrible line ups, I'd prefer it over h7. The core game was at least on point.

Meanwhile Ubisoft's dictatorship strikes back down the blog, they deleted innocent little poem from Verriker about Erwin and Ashan (yet some other poems don't seem to bother them) and yeah, got myself a full month of suspension after I shared my fanfic down there. 
All comments deleted as usual. 
Also for those who didn't see it in the RT I'm officially banned for life down the official forums after I tried to open a thread asking what was the deal with the way they moderate the blog, lol

Suspending people for life seems to be Ubisoft's favorite past time.

I got banned a good 8 years ago from the official forums of Ubisoft and, a good 10+ years from Celestial Heavens.
One thing I seriously learned in the past 10 years as a regular of the series's forums: Be a good news bringer and contributer as a periodic Troll instead of being a constant blabbing about tech. specs and, attempting to state that my PC's configuration + game configuration was always the best there is/was.
I guess, that with time, minding your/my own tech. based business got, really important. The effect of mobile PC's really got me down from my own high horse(being a tech guru and such IT pro nonsense).

Regarding the patching process of this newest title of the MMHeroes series
As of today, patch 1.8 is available for download and seems to be a really big one. I just did so and, took a whole 11.2 minutes at an average of 3.9Mb/s of broadband internet of a connection to do it. It feels like the devs are re-writing the hard coding as a whole. 2.65GB is one humongous upgrade of a patch.
Patch 1.9 should be a major one to cover as much as possible as it may be the very last one of the vanilla edition of this title.
Obviously, expect the very first expansion for this title to be somewhat ready by Fall of this year(2016). Version 2.0 is generally the expansion version of any title that we, all, know of this series. Fortress(Dwarves)faction is, somehow leaked out as being the expansion's extra faction added to the game once the expansion is installed. Patching is unknown to me and, will be added as needs to do so arises(too far in the future for myself and devs as well).

Announcement of Patch 2.0 under an obvious reason.
Although Storm-Giant wrote on the official News page of Age of Heroes, that on June 2nd 2016 would be the date for the release of the Stand-Alone Expansion as for the MMHeroes VII's game. As of the date of this post edit: August 4th 2016 is, now, the newest official release date for the Stand-Alone Expansion of MMHVII-Trial By Fire(T.B.F.).
It is now, August 5th-2016 and, the Stand-Alone Expansion has been officially released on Steam as of yesterday, August 4th-2016 as mentioned in this very same post, above. 2 options are now opened to the new buyer of this fine title: Patch your current copy of Heroes 7 to version 2.0(thru Steam and Uplay)and, then buy the Expansion that embarks itself over the version 2.0 of the ex-Vanilla version of the same Edition or, simply buy the newly release Heroes 7:Complete Editon for a little less than the previous way of getting the whole package as one sole game title.
The Random Map Generator feature is included in the Patch 2.0 for all owners of the game.
As you, all, can see, Heroes VII will be fully redeemed and, both single player and multi-player modes will greatly benefit from this drastic re-playability added on this latest title.
Please, remember the days of HoMM 5 Vanilla and, the lack luster that title brought in before the thorough patching could be completed and, how the very first expansion of Hammers of Fate brought in the beloved RMG back into our fans' hearts? Well, I definitely do. I strongly suspect a surprise faction add-on in the patch following the Dwarves one of this stand-alone expansion(Inferno maybe?).
So, I surely was overwhelmingly surprised of all these awesome developments happening all of a sudden.
Enjoy a newly redesigned game of Heroes VII:Trial By Fire. Version once Expansion is installed = ?

I can only laugh when I think back of the so-called collaboration with the fans, when community managers only posted to try and do damage control, turning deaf ears to what seems obvious to most fans, entering in confrontation with them, to finally disappear after the product's catastrophic launch.
The level of self-entitlement and arrogance tastefully mixed with ignorance and disdain for the series the MMH7 Team has is beyond epic proportions.
Oh and also bugs coming along dreadful optimization making it worst each new patch, to be sure even the few people liking the product can't enjoy it properly, GG

Official web site of the game is now fully updated.
Not only the full details of the patch 2.2 is included in the News section of this magnificent web site but, the entire content of detailed information about the Fortress faction is completed as well.
More information about serious changes in the specs of all Champion Creatures of Ashan is also a truly welcomed addition to the overall improvements in stats of those level 7's creatures. All this in the same article as for the latest patch/version of Heroes VII.
On my side of the story: It's about time the site's admins went back to work.
