Attn Pixel Artists: HC Icon Contest
Calling all pixel artists and graphic editing enthusiasts of HC.
We need an icon for official Ubisoft representatives who register on our forums.
- The icon needs to have the same style as our existing icons:
- The word could be "Ubisoft" or "Official", or something similar. Note that the word needs to be direct rather than creative, to be in line with "Moderator" and "Admin".
- The image needs to be in GIF or PNG format with transparency, and displaying well on white and gray backgrounds.
Timeframe: One week. Multiple entries from the same person are OK.
I will be the final judge, although observers are welcome to post their preferences.
The winner will receive a QP and their icon will become a part of HC and serve towards furthering developer/fan cooperation in the HOMM world.

I quickly played around with the potential titles so I guess only an image is required for the background 
Since HC is based on classical roleplaying classes, with moderators having a shield and a sword and the admin being the mage with the staff, only the rogue remains. Any potential symbolism could be bows, lockpicks.
Otherwise, there could be a parchment behind the words. Idk.

I agree Developer is better than Ubisoft, but also think this looks really good and would like to see an alternative version of it. 
Notice, however, the problem with grey background on every second post, you'll need to have the lightest pixel be no lighter than the grey colour.

Add a hammer (is a weapon, also used for crafting, as in developing something) as a backdrop to the developer (remove official) text TDL posted.
Think that might look good.

Great start
As far as the text style is concerned, we should use the same font. Could someone post what the name of the font is, for the benefit of other contestants?
I suppose the font colour could be red, or it could be another colour (blue?) because the officials/ubisoft/developers are not running HC like mods/admin do.

I'll be more busy than usual in RL the next few days but I will definitely post an alternative/better version of it.
So you guys think "Developer" is the word to use ?
And yeah, that font, I'd like to know what it is too

I'm not sure it's an actual font? At least, the letters in the words "Admin" and "Moderator" are not identical (A, D and M are all different) and the height of the letters in "Admin" is one pixel taller than those in "Moderator".
I think TDL's attempt at re-creating the font is pretty good, I made an alternative version with slight changes to "P" and "V" in developer. Obviously font colour could be changed also.
I think the H6 versions you've done are also good Stevie.
