Actually I think JeremiahEmo's lineup is really good, though I'm not sure you could call the Skirmishers Gnolls

Jeremiah, good lineup! I really like! If I could change one thing it would be Shaman. Why not make him Goblin? Goblin shaman? Goblins are extremely important for Stronghold and I cannot imagine this town without them.

I don't see how, considering all we could vote on were - you guessed it - lineups presented by the devs. All we could do was select which of the three presented ones we preferred.
you're right. However, the ones that were presented by the devs were a reaction to what the fans want.

Humor me. What lore was destroyed with the successful voted-in options?

The problem there is putting Goblins in Elite, the things are just too flimsy, you'd need to give them almost Champion levels of damage to even things up.
The unit I'm having most trouble with here is the Rougarou/Lycanthrope, I'm okay with a shape-shifter (wolf form=high speed, orc form=high defence), but a hybrid wolf-man type form just doesn't seem right to me.

Maybe the cyclops can be a warfare unit (flinging boulders at castle walls), so it's place in the champion tier comes free for the behemoth. This way the ashan version of the cyclops can still be incorporated without too much overlap with the behemoth.

Too many creatures of your line-up that are sentient to another world...
...called Erathia. The world of Ashan do not have these creatures:
Behemoth
Harpy
Gnoll
Plus, the only reason that the Roc/Thunderbird is returning in the line-up of the Wizards(BTW) is that along the timeline of Ashan, that experiment went awfully wrong and, got themselves extinguished(extinct). The cause was all about the atmosphere of Ashan did not "Jive" with their constitution.
The Gnoll has been an experiment of the Wizards that could only co-exist in the very rare environments of the Swamps of Ashan. Where all the other natural slithering creatures can survive, also. Same reason as to why the Nagas could no longer survive on this ever evolving world of Ashan.
Behemoths and Harpies are simply, not of this world, sorry.

I don't know what versions of the game you've been playing, but the Harpy has been in the Stronghold lineup in both Heroes5 and Heroes6 .

Are you telling me that, MMH2 and MMH3 happened on Enroth the whole time? I guess that these two titles are getting way too old for me to remember it all properly.

If I remember correctly, Enroth and Erathia are two continents. They are located on Antagarich, I believe.

no you're both wrong, sorry lol
the world is called Enroth, its H1 and H2 continent is also Enroth, which also has a kingdom named Enroth
the H3 continent is Antagarich, and a kingdom in Antagarich is Erathia
so the world of Erathia it's like saying the world of England lol

Yeah, you are right, shows how well my foggy memory serves me.
Still, the real point is, the Harpy and Gnoll do exist on Ashan, though the Behemoth so far hasn't been talked about "in universe" to my knowledge. Gnolls are in Duel of Champions, which as far as I can tell is canon, and Harpies were in H6, so...

To tell you, both, that I did not hear the name of Antagarich...
...often enough to have, truly, remembered it.
I always thought that Antagarich was some kind of mythical and very ancient realm.
So...It means that by the end of the existence of that world within the expansion of 'Shadow of Death', the survivors used some sort of an interstellar vortex like Dimensional Door way to the world of Axeoth. Axeoth would be the world where Heroes 4 initially started from, right? Pretty much like the Eternian self proclaimed masters of the universe get to use to travel from one world to another.
Well, anyway, I am glad that things got cleared up, finally.
BTW: Is it true that, Ashan is so far away from both of these, above mentioned, worlds; that this world's initial lore and stories are purely made up, entirely, from first scratch of one's story-telling creators? I personally think that it is so.

Jee, thanks guys. The best part of that lineup is the gameplay. There are a lot of them that mix and match.
