Rock thrower definitely. I miss stoning my enemy to death. H6 didn't feel mithy at all. When I think might I thing clubing stoning and crushing. Has dumb and simple has that.
I think they should be unit warfare is a little bit harsh for this classic unit

Rakshasas are beastmen? I'd always assumed they were summoned like Djinns...

They were in H5, but that was retconned. They are now beastmen who stayed loyal to the wizards after the orcs uprising.

Idk why cyclpose's most signature attack would be throwing rocks? I mean sure, he did throw boulders at Odysseus's ship in the classical depiction, but that was only coz he couldn't reach them. If you were a giant, wouldn't you do the same? Im sure it was last resort and melee attacks was his speciality (one eye realy dosent help you know - thworing rocks and aiming a gun are two diferent things).

Yes, I believe we have established that.

As for laser shooting/ "evil eye" and what not, I remember some myth, not of Greek, but Celtic I believe, of a race of giants called the Formorians, and their king was Balor, who had one large eye, ascribed the "evil eye", and opening it caused destruction of whatever he looked at.
Not a normal "cyclops", as he was sometimes described with 2 eyes, with the second eye being the evil eye, otherwise having "one" normal eye, and being a "cyclops" that way. (Some descriptions have it being a third, central eye being the evil eye) but he's marginally relevant.
Still, Trolls have no reason (as far as I have seen) to be described as rock throwing, and in fact their corpse is rocky, so I dunno about throwing around their dead family members. Where at least a cyclops did throw rocks around mythologically speaking.

everyone can throw a rock. You dont need a backstory for it. I can throw a rock. Monkey can throw a rock. Even birds can grab it whith it's beak and throw it. Why not trolls? are they handicaped? you mention about their ancestors being in rocks .... so walking on rocky floor and over their ancestor's faces is ok, but throwing is bad somehow...
It is reasonable to expect backstory on laser shooting (wich i think is ridiculous concept) or why vampire can turn into bat - but rock throwing? realy?

Cyclops and rocks go Rock throwing is really more a Cyclops thing, since it was described by Homer in about 800 BC.

are seriously debating if trolls or cyclopes would be better fit to throw boulders? seriously?
obvious answe is cyclopes cause size and trolls "don't fit Ashan" (i believe has been mentioned, though i'd argue they'd fit better here than enroth or whatever) and thus will never make it in. also, lasers on cyclopes is stupid.

No, but the Demon Lord's enormous hatred is apparently concentrated in the eye of the cyclops. This gives them a gaze so intense they can use it to strike down their enemies.
From the discription f the Bloodeyed Cyclops:
The Bloodeyed Cyclops has no need of a club. Its weapon is the bloody eye with which it strikes down any poor soul unlucky enough to meet its accursed gaze.
EDIT:
Why is it a problem if the cyclops has some kind of laser beam attack, while it is (apparently) no problem at all for the beholder to have it?

because Cyclopes are big, muscly and sweaty and so has no need or use for lasers when it would be simpler (and cooler) for it to just pick up a big rock and throw it while Evil eyes don't really have anything else and are also (loosely) based on greek believes that sight were beams from your eyes making beams very suitable for a creature all about sight? what use are those muscles and clubs if you're just gonna stand behind and shoot them with lasers?

Also because titan shoot beam if I remember demo, disciple shoot magic projectile. I'm not sure about chaplain and druid but I don't think their gonna be far from that too.
It's getting to beam magic beam firework. Some may like it but shooting rock is truly unique and add depth, differentiation and also imo fit better might.

Beam was just a placeholder, their attack should look normal.

Probably yeah, but we all expect that from Titan. Even if we have multiple magic attacks like Disciple, Titan, Druid, Lich etc. I doubt that they will look even remotely similar.
