Yay idiotic sjwness. The H5-6 were pretty much naked regardless the sex, same for goblins and cyclopes. And the orc aesthetics from ToE are already in the more-canon period according to Marzhin iirc.
I loathe how some people equal female with without a lot clothes = disgusting fanservice for the creepy fat gollums playing the game without paying attention to context.

Anyway, among the facts that Centaurs are among the most dull and boring creatures from known mythology, I mean you have half scorpion people in Girtablilu, half spider people in Jorogumo, even half sharks in Adaro and Dragon-Centaurs in Kampe (yes you don't know this creature I know, but its the most awesome of Greek mythology monsters, a freaking she-dragon centaur)
And yet they take the most bland of the centauroid family.
THEY COULD however make something from it, making it having a orc upperbody and having a cool horse-like underbody. In my opinion a half orc half scorpion (girablilu like) would have ruled with the desert theme.

Actually, beastmen are not orcs in the slightest, and beastmen were made from humans and animals, not orcs and animals.

Or they are in 3d, and this is only flat scetches?

I'm sorry, but Ashan lore is important in Heroes designs, so I'm giving you a realistic answer about your idea - just because you don't care about something doesn't make it go away.

Unfortunately, they are in 2D, and these are the townscreens that will be in the game.

I hope Stronghold townscreen will not be so blurred in game.
Walls look like some isometric Age of Empires game wall blocks. Why they didnt draw them in HMM6 style?

By having only your hero and 1 core unit, you can beat down a legion of wyverns. Just have you hero equipped with this (in his weapon slot, don't forget it):
You'll likely reach the level cap in just one fight too.

Actualy ... I agree with Rakshasa on this. They could include much more interasting creatures instead of the overused ones in Ashan, not just Stronghold. But I belive Erwan never heard about those, and what he dosen't know, does not exist
Besides, if you listen to the interview, he prety much explains how things go in HoMM. Ashan is already established, with it's inhabitors. Centaurs are the ones that exist there (apparently). He said he wants there to be established lineups more or less, so Centaur and Harpy are actualy for the better part guaranteed to be in Stronghold. Even in H8, when it comes.
There COULD be so many things. That are not.
