"HEY, YOU, GET OVER HERE AND HELP WITH THIS!" She shouted to a nearby soldier who came up to them. "Good, you and Mikolaj grab that handle. Gwyn, keep an eye out so we don't break something" and so they started their way back to camp. It wasn't very heavy, Hwacha's were really just wooden frames, but it was large and unwieldy so the extra help certainly didn't hurt.
"Eyes on the road" She scolded Mikolaj.

After talking about the recent events Titus spoke up about his plans to attack lady Viola:-'Tis simple, Francis finally marries you and we support his claim to the county.- -Father, with all due respect, we could use the fact that they are practicing necromancy to attack them- -But Francis, this would only scare off our allies, what if they think it's none of their business to stop this?- -Tough luck, but I don't think we won't be getting help at all, there are mage hunters after all- -But you forget she is barricaded in a castle, they would need to enter first.- -But why would they help us if this was a dynastic strife and not an ethical strife?- -My son, nobles respect duty and bloodlines more than some witch's lunacy, remember that we need to burn down the corpses of the undead, how are we supposed to prove this foul magic? I stood close to Isabella and listened to the conversation with lord Titus. I'd be dead meat if they catch me with the loot I have with me. That's why you must act like a ghost, stay invisible, utter no words - don't even breathe if you don't have to. Just smile and nod to whatever they say to you.
But I said "Screw it!", I'm the master thief after all! They couldn't possibly suspect anything!
"So, the two lovebirds are finally getting together", I whispered to Isabella, "Are you coming to the ceremony?"

Titus replied to Elena: -The main problem it's not demon-hunters believing us, those folk tend to be rather overzealous, when I was young just the suspicion of practicing the dark arts could get you hanged from a tower, I fear that in an attempt to purge the abominations they would raze the county. And besides, they don't usually siege castles, how are they supposed to enter? The king usually stays away from internal conflicts, in all my life I've seen him act only during the uprise... I say that nobles would be our first choice in allies, at least they know how to conquer a land.-
Francis then interjected: -We have an expert in the subject of mage hunters, I think he could shed light on that overzealousness you talk about...- Guinevre interrupted him: -But Halfman said that they would have certainly killed me if I didn't renounce my powers.- -You were guilty of that though...- Francis then continued: -I still think that we should wait for lord Dragomir's word on this plan.-

- I lifted the curse on Francis' brother. It was easier than I initially anticipated. That dumb wh0re is really sloppy with them. It's a miracle he didn't die once cursed. For now he needs rest, and plenty. And if I may suggest, there should be at least a fresh loaf of bread near him once he wakes up.- He said to Drago, more than to anyone else. Dragomir just nodded.
- Well. This marriage thing. In the long history of the Brotherhood, there were more than few marriages between it's members. I see no harm to it. Francis needs to mature a bit, and it would seem that a wife would help in that cause. And it seems that the union would please both houses, even though that after one joins the Free Company, the once responsibilities he or she had, are no longer theirs.
He paused for a bit.
- Now the other problem. The witch. She sent her undead knights errant to dwindle our number. His grace had issued an order, and gave me a writ, which says that we, the Brotherhood, can dispose of anyone who tries by any means to halt us on our march to the uncharted north. This Viola had attempted to do so. And I see it as an act of treason. Her head must be mounted on a pike.- Drago said while stuffing his pipe.- The only problem is getting to her.
- Once she loses the control over the arcane, the undead would cease to exist.- Halfman said.- We need to capture her so I can take away her powers.

So if let's say a lord wants to prosecute us or even a certain member of the Brotherhood, I can without any large backlash order to have the lord killed. His grace however would be persuaded to lend some troops if he learns that a certain lord has generously helped us, thus supporting the king in his hour of need. And by us I of course mean the Brotherhood as a whole. Which brings us to another topic we have to discuss. Your sons offered a very generous sum in exchange of our help. Five thousand forints to be exact.

"Apple, yay!", I joyfully exclaimed and grinned. Elena was always the sharp one and I liked her for that. I expected nothing less from her when it came to bargaining; she always knew how to strike a deal.
"Oh, I think I'll go with Elena to check the rest of the castle for possible traps, ohyes! Wouldn't want to have someone end up hurt here, lords no. I couldn't bear feeling guilty for something bad that happened, but I could've prevented on time", I said in the cheesiest voice I could.
"Let's go, Elena, we have work to do, right?"

Within the next few hours, the Company's campsite was relocated to the castle. Dragomir sat in his wagon and finished the letter to the King. There were several falcons avaivable for the company to use as messenger birds. since the uprising the birds were few, and both of the falcons remaining only knew one destination. Voruta, the capital of Merinanth.
Hopefully, the letter will arrive fast.
