"You ready?" Elena asked Shu who in turned nodded. "good".
She leaped forward with Shu closely behind who enveloped both in a spinning torrent of water, reflecting several volleys of venom. Elena stabbed one before jumping back, anticipating the retaliation before it fell down. Another came and attacked them from the side but it was repelled by Shu's stream pushing it away before capturing it in an icy prison.
"<Got one alive but I don't have any more water as long as I can't take from the vegetation>" Shu mentioned as she and Elena started to retreat backwards, frozen serpent hovering after them.
Once they were behind friendly lines, Elena ran forward again, killing another creature before feeling close enough to pull out her gun and shot the crystal which merely cracked the surface.

The shot at the crystal made the snakemen creatures enraged, and in their blind fury made them make mistakes, and were felled more easily. Magnus made way to the crystal pedestal
- Just don't blow me head off with that hand cannon of yers!- He shouted to Elena as he raised his hammer in the air. the crow's beak landed in the crack made by Elena, and widened it. The recoil almost made the dwarf to drop his weapon from his hands.
Getting a strong grip on his weapon again, Magnus swung once more at the crystal. The crack widened even further. It seemed that a few more swings would do it. Dragomir and the others tried to defend the dwarf the best way they could.

little by little, swing by swing and the crystal finally shattered into pieces, the magical energy held within spiraled up into the air. The creatures defending it were defeated.
Dragomir ordered to return back to the dryad village.
The battle was still ongoing there, with the Company and the dryads slowlt taking up the upper hand.
