Forum slowness
Just a post to indicate that the forum has been acting slowly again, lately. Opening topics and threads seems to sometimes hit a wall and take quite some time. I've seen other people report the same, which indicates it's due to the website, not a local problem on the client's end.

Yeah. This is the second time I noticed this behavior in this community since I joined. Sometimes it takes so long that I actually forget why I was going to open that page to start with.

Jokes aside though, there are a few things I can think of:
1. Server backup/maintenance
2. Bandwidth limit
3. Valeriy used some low-life shady bussiness cheap guy

Thanks for the reports. Last time I did optimization work on how multiple searches are handled, but it appears that the search was not responsible for these slowdowns.
My next theory is that the slowdowns may be caused by the e-mail notification function on the huge H7 discussion thread with almost 20,000 replies. To test this I've temporarily disabled e-mail notifications for the H7 Discussion Thread. All other threads should still send notifications as usual.
Over the next 3 days I ask you to watch to see if the slowdowns are still happening or not. After 3 days post your observations here.

I must admit that I haven't experienced many slowdowns for the past few days. I don't have notifications enabled, not sure if that matters.
