god, the amount of grammatical mistakes in the report that you linked, artu, makes me think it was a hacker who posted it.
if that stuff is true, and it isn't just propaganda(and if indeed the perpetrators were muslim and not part of the french government acting for the "greater good of the country"), then obama would have no reason to allow any of the immigrants here in the u.s.
which i would be fine with. we have enough coming in daily as it is.

yes is true, I didn't read artu's link but being now in national TV. France will close all its borders tomorrow and national urgency plan is up, the army is entering in Paris.
I think the end is starting. I don't see how this can humanly be handled, with nearly 8 millions muslims around.

as far as guns go, are the french allowed to own them? shotguns, even?

Hostages are being murdered one by one at the concert hall. I think attack locations are 6 now. FOX just reported 3 explosions at the hall.
The civilized world needs to unite to wipe out ISIS with extreme prejudice. Iran must not be allowed to get nukes.

I don't think so. Some states allow for more or less free access to weapons (like Switzerland,) but I don't think France is one of such countries.

ISIS will lose sooner or later. An intelligent person would pick off enemies one by one, not create enemies only to be stuck fighting on multiple fronts. France hasn't done anything to be their target, did they?

Can you not? Can you please not ruin this moment? I'm just anxiously watching this unfold and asking myself a basic snowing question: how much more must die before internal action is taken? We've literally let millions of these snows into Europe and now we're reaping the consequences, aren't we?
These snowing politicians should be publicly flayed like the pigs they are.

Theoretically they participate in bombings of ISIS, but as some commenters pointed out in Polish television this attacks may simply be performed in order to make Europeans afraid.

fred, the problem with guns is that not only terrorists are lunatic people, a percentage of normal people are also lunatics. I recall to your smoky memory that your super armed country still leads at both guns kills and due to terrorist acts kills number.
So I don't think it would be a good idea, but IF it is only the starting and it happens again and again, I will be the first one to get a gun, sure. For now, it looks catastrophic. I am really shocked, there is no place where you can be safe, 40 of killed people were assisting to a musical concert, the others in a restaurant.

From what I am aware, at least in Romania you can own guns as a civilian but you need to go through a lot of BS paperwork and probably other tests. I don't know, exactly.
