@ elvin and maurice: animals miss all the time in the wild. lions, for example, only take down a kill something like 1 time out of 10 that they attempt. that's just life. you gotta keep trying. 
if the nature show documentaries showed all the times animals missed, nobody would watch them; or feel in awe of nature's "precision".

lol, he's so badass. i wish I could be that badass when i grow up.
i really wish i had a video of when i was jumping over my mom's privacy fence as a kid, and caught my shoelaces on the spikes, and swung down and bounced off the metal rim of a barrel with my shins, with the whole weight of my body, and just hung there miserably with the rim of the barrel embedded in my shins for a second in horrible agony before i could find the rim of the barrel with my hands and haul myself up off it and eventually pry my goddamn shoelaces from that evil trap my mom set up for me and my poor shins.

Hm, what are the odds that the snake actually got stuck after she tried to squeeze it through and she had to undergo surgery or something to release it? If that's the case, I hope they had to cut off the entire ear  .
