That guy is so lucky ... first, the bumper of the red car passes in front of him, the red car itself behind him, with preciously little margin for error on either part not hitting him. Then the truck veers off and barely misses the guy.
Yes, he should be fined for cycling over a pedestrian crossover.
And the guy in the airplane? That's why you have these wrist bands attached to handhelds, so you avoid dropping them - or having them blown out of your hands. Unless, of course, this was his cellphone ...  .

What are they trying to achieve? Safety? Just one or two steps out of the circle and they're fine. Access to the vehicle? Just stand and wait for it to come around again instead of trying to overtake it, it's going in circles anyway.
