Anil said: Ok. Thanks for answers. Which Heroes do you prefer for main hero? I prefer Orrin for Castle and Shakti for Dungeon.
Main hero? Prefer? Uhm...
1. Crag Hack
2. Crag Hacks
3. Crag Hacked
After him comes Gundula > Any Barberian > Anything else.
Orrin is N2 as Tower (can't really decide between him and Gund).

Crag Hack isn't guarantee for other towns (except Stronghold). If I am Castle I won't choose barbarians because they cannot learn water magic.

Crag Hack and his Barbarian brothers are the best main heroes because attack is better than defense vs the map. They are also loved because they have the best chance of getting Earth/Air Magic.
Regardless of town, you want one of them Anil.

Magic hero vs might hero, depends on map and players interactivity (early or late). More time you get, might develop better. Got only 2-3 days before you start to fight the other player, magic heroes are better.
But today 99% of players play closed random maps, so you have 10 days or so before seeing the other. Might much better then.

In my younger, more nooby days - ofc. Everyone has. How else would we know if might was best or not?
So yeah, everytime that idea comes up for you, do this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crgIpAhUjpU
Haha nah just kidding, but you get the point - stay away from them unless you have no might heroes whatsoever.

Might Hero vs Magic Hero I am really undecided. Sorcery speciality heroes can clean maps more easy. Also Jeddite and Alamar are very good.

You are welcome to spend hours testing and comparing it Anil.
You are also welcome to just read and accept those that have done this kind of tests for 10+ years advice and roll a might hero.
Might > Magic.

I think this game could be more funny if the game was a simultaneously. I am really boring on multiplayer during waiting for enemy round.

Don't accept anybody asking for more than 4 min/turn, because battles are not included in waiting time, and 4 min outside battles are more than enough. Then first week, those 4+ minutes are needed to evaluate things around your town and plan some movement. Reading a book is not so easy when a game stresses you, but you can watch movies, listen to music etc.

Salamandre said: Which of course makes no sense, as for that you must place your hero at one day from enemy town, so the day when you place it, he has same army value, so if he can't be defeated that time, there is no reason you will be able to beat him one week growth later, next day.
On week 2 day 1 red has 2 weeks worth of army growth while blue has 1 week. If red attacks on that turn it is much easier for him. Or what's the confusion?

Thus is old false issue and nobody had any problem with it prior to 1 millions noobs arrival in toh, time when this rule was made up, among 50 others, each more worthless than previous.
To attack someone the next day, your hero must be placed at movement range. So the point is that red player hero who prepares red rush is reachable by blue player day 7 of the week (as he finished turn). He also needs to prepare a chain which you should have seen by that time, and break it.
If you miss that opportunity to attack him or break the chain, then you deserve to be attacked next day, with extra army.
Is exactly same issue as hit and run. if you hero is dumb enough to stop in range with full army, he deserves to be hit and run. The game is way more interesting and stressing when you don't put all those rules.

Not that I support this rule or anything but that might not be true. E.g the heroes have different slowest unit or heroes are moving towards each other and hence neither can reach the other before red gets it's turn. I think it has a lot to do with people moving their main heroes to undiscovered areas and things like that Or heroes sitting in towns. Like on week 2 day 1 blue has castle and some idno dwarves in the town and then red attacks it. With week 1 army it might not work but week 2 certainly works.

I consider the cases you aforementioned to be game-play errors. When you move toward an enemy hero, you know from start if you will reach or not, you don't just click then surprisingly stop one hex away. Then about undiscovered areas, its also a huge error to explore with your main. Thats what scouts are for, they open view so you can know where to safely walk your army, no matter the day of the week.
Look, game is much more interesting if you ignore this rule, because then you will pay additional attention where you move and when. After all, once you play red, then you play blue, so things usually get fair for both players.
