Hearing Ytil's reaction she shouts out a command.
"FEITHA! Amin quenta a' sen.", she then turns back to the ground and the plants and tries to relay her message to them. "Mani lle tyava? Mani marte? Lye tua lle."

Elinia gets back a sense of pain, wrongness, and absolute blood lust. "The symbol.. " this is in common surprisingly, from the plants.. "IT BURNS..sooo hungry.." Vines and limbs reach toward the group.. grasping at them, trying to quell the unnatural hunger that consumes them.

The source of the magic is definitely the giant wheel in the ground. Brugd knows it is not of Blood Cloak make, he would recognize it if it was. No this seems to come from the God Wars, and the symbol is causing the forest to hunger for blood.
Vines and limbs grasp at the party. Only Brugd (sorry your armor class stinks), and Jade are grabbed. The other manage to avoid or fight off the grasping appendages for now. Unless helped, the two have 3 rounds before the life is squeezed from them.. and they can not escape on their own.

Witold was concentrated on freeing his entangled companions, he chopped at the near base of the vines that grabbed them.

"Oh now you want to smash it." Brugd grumbled as he pulled free from the roots thanks to Witold, "...whatever, let's just end this quickly. Witold, we'll be fine, you go have fun."
Brugd mumbles an incantation and casts Enlarge Person on Witold.

Elinia tries to get closer to spot a way to disable or destroy the symbol(without exploding it in a whirlwind of magic and chaos) in order to free the plants(and the group).

Feeling somewhat bigger, and a tad stronger, Witold raised his bardiche again in order to split the wheel in half, or at least damage it enough so it would lose it's power.
((I take it the wheel is made out of wood))

As Elinia looks for a safe way of shutting it off, Witold's blow lands. Arcane energy rips through the area, bathing the whole group as the cork is popped from the bottle. Elinias tree recovers some (about a third), but that is just the start of it. The red mist mingles with the unleashed energy, as one third of the worlds magic is flooded back into the world. ((Spells up to 3rd level are now 'safe' and do not require blood to be cast)).
The plants around recover from their blood lust, and you see one 'spit' out a form which tumbles to the ground unconscious. The blood lust Elinia felt from the plants vanishing, and the forest around suddenly teeming with renewed vigor and life. A concussive wave knocks the entire group flat, except Witold, who's size allows him to stay on his feet .. barely. Shafts of energy hit everybody in the group.
((Everybody gets a vision, if they share what they see or not.. that is up to you all.. expect HCM's))

Brugd stumbles to his feet, his head still spinning from the shockwave and the vision. Through the haze of memories he remembers the plants spitting something out and he collapses to his knees again in search for the "form".

Witol shook his head. So it was over. However, not all seemed normal. The vision he experienced was disturbing to say the very least. Also, it looked like that Witold had only shrunk a little bit, not reverting fully to his original height.
- Is this side effect normal when you cast your magics? - He asked Brugd - Or me being even bigger has something to do with that energy surge from the wheel?

The spell should have wore out.. and he is smaller..instead of double size he is 1.5x his normal size.. so most likely a wild surge happened. As for the figure, Brugd finally finds .. her. I raven haired beauty, sans clothing. A strange demonic symbol on her thigh. With his arcane knowledge, Brugd is able to figure out she is a witch. The group remembers that this is a witch's swamp. Most likely she came to investigate what was happening in her swamp, and was 'absorbed' by the plants. Must have been her voice which answered the Dryads question. She is alive, but unconscious.
Currently she is helpless, left to her own devices .. she would perish out here. Of course, since she obviously deals with evil outside forces, having made a pact with one for her powers.. might not be a bad thing. Awake..she is dangerous.. very dangerous.

Brugd looks the witch over without much ceremony, looking for any gems or other items of power. Not finding any, he finally stands to his feet.
"Well... we may have found a... witness to whatever happened here."
