He's probably hiding for all the lies he told us.
First of all this Equivocado 17 NoVore.exe is rendering the game at version 3.5(equivalence to W.o.G for Heroes 4).
Second, in the main page, it mentions that the mod. is only at version 13 and, definitely not at 16.
Posting this out of frustration that the game crashed on a old pre-made map for only 2 players. The crash happened during a battle against a neutral stack. Game was in its 2nd week only.
The guy might not even be working on any other equilibris-like modding ever since the start of September 2017.

I'm pretty sure it is the latest version of the mod, even if the text isn't up to date. I quite like it in single player and I don't find many bugs, but I would like to get in touch with NimoStar because there still are some issues that need to be addressed.

0.16 is the working last release
0.18 is functionally finished long ago, but have not uploaded due to lack of connection (also packing and "Marketing" is a tiresome, thankless task...)
As the other guy said, replacing all text is a tiresome and non-productive task. Specially since text in .exe has to be edited with a special program.
What is the lie, then?
Tell me which map doesn't work, and I'll look into it. All H4 vainilla maps I tested worked with the mod.
Maybe some custom script is creating a conflict, or the map was made for Equilibris 3.55 (Equi 3.55 artifacts don't yet work on the current working versions of the mod, though they might in theoretical future releases. But not in 0.18.
I will check my messages.
PS: I didn't receive any message here or it was auto-deleted, I will check the other forum later...

I don't know much about H4 or graphics. Could you please enlighten me what more possibilities "fully isometric prerendered graphics" have? Thanks.

2.5D. H3 had only pre-rendered graphics, but not fully isometric.

The "more possibilities" are an illusion of 3D. That's kinda it. + lower graphic requirements, etc. But you will never be able to rotate the camera and such.

Is it better or worse than authentic 3D where you can rotate the camera?

Technically, an authentic 3D with fixed camera is visually almost the same thing (but usually looks better, 'cus it's real-time rendering with scene lighting, etc.), but will use up more of the PCs resources. However, we are in 2020, and even a somewhat mediocre PC is up to the ask (talking about myself here).

There are times where 2.5 looks far better than 3D.
This video below is a great example how 2.5 differs from 3D.

The main thing is stationary camera and non-real-time-renders (which means, pre-rendered). 2.5D is better for lower spec PCs, tho, but 3D can also bring some more camera angles and possibilities. And it looks better because as I said, it's a pre-render, so it won't lag, etc. And it doesn't necessarily look better than 3D, but real-time 3D needs processing power to get it to look like that (actually, they both technically look the same).

You should have both expansions installed. Gog version could be an option.

To me Isometric is clearly better for strategy than 3D perspective.
3D perspective:
- Hard to compare object sizes due to perspective
- Distances are not apparent
- Occlusion (stuff gets in the way of the camera)
- Not everything visible at the same time
Isometric perspective:
- Scales perfectly to grid
- Distances visually apparent
- Everything is on sight at the same time
- No occlusion other than originally intended
As you can see, at least for bidimensional strategy (which is what we have here) it makes more sense to use an isometric layout than a 3D layout.
