I still encounter the crash issue, when opening the editor. I opened it, had a look at the heroes, but once I clicked on artifacts -> Fun/Effects, the editor stops working. Guess my pc, just don't want me to run your modded editor it seems..

Oh, no, it's not that, it's that there is a bugged artifact there on the object palette. You should not click it and everything will be fine :v
Blank picture = bug
If you want to stop the accident, you can go to object palette editor and just delete the fun/effect section.
Next version will fix that too.
Also in next version for the editor:
- Working 355 creature banks (as of now, they all work as Pirate Islands, but in next version they will each be different)
- Working Megadragon Cave (actual creature generator)
- Working Mermaid Sanctuary (actual creature generator)
- Working Sea Monster Lair (actual creature generator)

I would very much like to stop the incident, but like the previous modded editor, once I've encountered the crash, the editor opens with the Fun/Effects tab selected, and thus immediately crash when I try to open it again. So I can't get to the point where I can remove the sections. Also I didn't select any artifacts, just clicked the section tab. Either I'll wait for the next update or I'll just extract all the new files and add them to my Equi editor using the .h4d method. At least that doesn't crash the editor.

I also got this error or crash,but I removed previous mods and files from 3DO and reinstalled HOMM IV.I believe a fresh installation should solve this crash Karmakeld,or possibly the problem is as Nimo said,because I was several times thrown out of campaign editor when scrolling down

My version of the editor only crashed when I select the artifact, as such deleting it was easy.
I wish the forum would permit to upload a file simoply, the fix is less than 400 kb

Just put this in the data folder, overwrite, and run the Campaign Editor E (NOT 3, its russian and not updated) again.
Fun/Effect should be fixed with no ill consequences (also new version has more artifacts there)

Again,you have my thanks,Nimo.Is it possible to modify hero´s cloths,so he can have 6 health or 6 rings of light for strenghth?I want or wish my hero would be more tough when vs creatures,thanks,unless you already included it in recent link.

Either it's the new upload or the fact that I also had a look at my mirrored Data folder and deleted the old great. files - thank you Nostradamus for this suggestion).
I'm working my way through all objects.
So far I've had BlankHeroes->BarbaroClaro and another BlankHero cause crashes, but unlike before, I'm able to open the editor again, without immediate crash.
Nimo I see you used a lot of my customized portraits, but didn't notice any credit for their origin
edit: some of the Personal->HeroLooks heroes also crash the editor. That is, if I click to edit the hero(es). But so far, I've been through Landscape Objects, Adventure Objects, Hidden and Characters with no issues.

Sorry for the off-topic.
I am using Equlibris 3.55 and I enjoy all the goodies there (this mod as well) but there is one thing I don't like - the nerf they did on the Dragon Strength spell (from 100 to 66%). Do you guys know a way to change it back. All the major changes are in the additional .dll file that comes with equi 3.55. I imagine the nerf is done with something like that - multiply the strenght by 10 (0A) and divide by 16 (0F) but I can't find the proper # address. However I deciphered most of the changes but not that one.

Nostradamus, no more ring crazyness...
However, some other artifacts may be changed to allow to have more (or less) of them, if reasonable.

BarbaroClaro only crashes the hero if you doubleclick it.
Now I realized why this happens:
This hero was a barbarian, DOgwoggle (the campaign one)
However, in the new scheme, those heroes are Kreeganists from inferno (they replaced Barbarian class).
Dogwoggle is now a Primmo (replacement for Archer class)
So, the crash is caused by a hero which is set from a different class (Dogwoggle->Kreeganist) than it actually is (Dogwoggle->Primmo)
Perhaps in next version I will delete these heroes and change them for reconfigured versions.
For now, the only danger is that you try to open him and did not save the map :v

As for the 355, no answer; I couldn't even change the nerf they did on Town Portal to allow it to be used in battle again, and that in 3.51.
However, this mod includes all 355 objects as an extra, but not the dragon strenght nerf, so you could use it instead - Dragon Strenght still works at 100'% here.
355 maps are compatible with Greatest Mod.

I just found out about the mod a day ago, congrats on releasing this mod when H4 was so hard to mod. Im gonna take a few days to try it out before coming back with some feedback.

RL stuff always pops up when u least want it to, I only managed to load up a map and give it a shot and play like prob 20+turns. Mod is really awesome for the changes implemented. Really looking forward to the change in the creature/hero portraits. As it is it really a bit weird seeing creatures of different background colour in the same army.

I just read now when 1.16 is released already. In fact I came to make that announcement :v
Problem with "Changing Venom Spawn into Lich" is that I am already using venom spawn as a Dungeon unit (similar in flavor and function to D&D "Gelatinous Cube"). While it could in theory be replaced for medusa, I don't like in practice having less creatures (because Liches are already heroes, and it would lead to repeated animation - Red liche is already used as a default Chaos female hero)
If image editing is available then of course I would do it changing it to be different. For now I can only shuffle animations (head of creature lich could be turning all the time, which would be hilarious : P )

Ah... the color rings. Perhaps people would be more friendly to medusa in necropolis if it had the appropiate ring, yes :v since it's color is pretty much the same to necropolis creatures.
I am working in a new technique to replace the creature portraits, but it requires some patience, and is not ready for 0.16
Many bugfixes and upgrades are, though,
we have dwellings for Megadragon, Mermaid and Sea Monster imported. You can find them on the list to add to the palette.
Next post has download of 0.16

Sorry, have written so much in the readme, changelog and page, I don't know what more to add
DOWNLOAD GREATEST MOD 0.16
If you read the install instructions, it reccomends to delete previous version of mod/maps before overwritting with this one. Will be cleaner that way (no map duplication).

I think you should ask Baronus.
He managed to insert an edited creature portrait I made of the wolves, with a darker temple ring.
A while back he showed me a picture in progress, where he was changing the looks of the Female Mage. I believe he's able to edit the heroes image, but question is if want to edit a hero or a creature image. Anyway, I suggest asking Baronus
