I actually picked up the series after your "recommendation".
It is an interesting premise and I think it's hard to find honest people like the protag. Also, the series does mention it a few times but I wonder about the legal and social aspect of the whole situation. People (mainly the protags co-workers) don't seem to be fazed about their totally "normal" relation (taking in a stranger teenager girl). Well I think there are couples like this, but her circumstances are "unclear" to say the least...
That said I like those "grounded" types of romance anime like Domestic no Kanojo so am pretty much enjoying this one.

Yea, those too. Though my first question was along the lines of "how tf are they allowing this to air"? Leaving aside how very suggestive it is, wasn't it straight up illegal what they showed in episode 3? I think Japan is trying to break barriers and anime like this gets approved.

age of consent in Japan is 13 afaik, so they can get away with it.
and may be the reason and example for chomos like Vaush to argue for it here in the west.

Yeah from what I know they have pretty "liberal" laws.
It's not that I'm "shocked" with it, because I'm not naive enough to believe such "relationships" aren't commonplace even in the West. It's simply interesting to see a series tackling such a subject.
Kudos for the protag though, he is very level-headed and definitely not a moral looser who would take advantage of the situation. There were situations already in which he needed to hold back...
I'm still not sure about how his peers react though... shouldn't they be more concerned?

Japan doesn't exactly hold christian values. Besides, the series is about a good guy helping a kid out. Not a guy abusing her, so it's got a clearly different tone. And she's a high schooler. Not really a problem in most of europe either if there's no control involved. You can be sure that cops would get involved if they know, be it japan or the west.
It's pretty difficult to find a similar story from the west though. Most involve drugs, alcohol and violence over here. They're not happy touchy feely ones like that.

But he turned it down, because he's retarded and had his dick do the thinking for him. in fact Tar's whole addiction situation was solely for the fact that he let his dick do the thinking for him.

Kimetsu no Yaiba has become one of the most popular anime in 2019 and many people agree it's surprisingly good  (for a shounen blah blah), mainly due to it's high end animation and pretty cutthroat premise (a lot of characters are massacred). Gonna have to pick up the movie at some point especially since it's manga material.
Yeah "blondie" takes the cake as anime histories most irritating character but he also gets one of the most epic scenes in shounen history (so his whole lameness is kinda a build-up for this kind of epic moments).
Dropped Full Dive (prolly the only series I'll drop this season), as I simply can't stand such pitiful characters. I gave the series a chance to redeem him but I'm not masochist enough to watch the tidings of such a looser and trash.
