AOC can say some fantastically dumb things but she also is admittedly good at aggressively going after rot and corruption. Anything that involves wasteful spending with police/prisons/military and she is like a rottweiler in a chicken coop.

Whoever brings up the questions that are hard but necessary to hear. Like why aint you yanks stalled on the metrification, even India converted 60 years ago. Even England has owned up to the fact that it's just an arbitrary system of measurement.

First of all, the Imperial System sounds a lot cooler than the Metric System.
Secondly, it is impossible to remember anything in metric or celsius. Boiling point of water in celsius is 100 degrees. In fahrenheit it is 212 degrees. 12 inches = 1 foot and 1 foot = 3 yards. 5280 feet = 1 mile. Easy. But in metric, 10 centimeters = 1 decimeter and 10 decimeters = 1 meter. Ridiculous.
Instead of the US converting to metric, maybe the rest of the world should convert to imperial.
