Urgh

Urghh indeed. The way they boost the volume each passing year, soon you may be hearing it from the coasts of Greece.

Imagine, cheap low quailty speakers, megaphones even, turning human voice into a metalic, buzzy sound, now imagine those metalic sounds singing traditional Arabic music in which vocals wave on and on, except it isnt sung by Arab musicians but tone-deaf city servants (although, they all think there is an undiscovered Pavarotti in them and prolong their “performance” free style, on and on and on), imagine this in 100-120 decibels and wait, it’s not over yet, since they keep building mosques in every tiny little street; now imagine on top of all, two, three, sometimes even four of these performances, mixing up out of sync. Since the prayer times are determined by the sun and morning prayer is a little before sun rise, during summer season, when you cant even shut your windows because of the heat, it sometimes starts as early as 4:20 in the morning. Houses close to mosques started to lose their price over here!

Here’s a sample from a dude who recorded it for a complaint site. (The complaints almost never work, because as Erdogan puts it: They will never silence our prayers.)

I was on holiday in Turkey a few years ago and I can confirm that. Tinny speakers, more than one you can hear, and out of sync. First one at five o'clock or so. It's certainly torture and against the Geneva Conventions.

It's a simple question with an obvious answer.

I support the Kingdom of Jerusalem, and it's weird how there is still no army willing to march on Hierosolyma and secure it in the name of Christ.

I don't even know who are those two countries? warlord states? tribes? are you talking about, the Holy Land is currently unoccupied by a legitimate state.

no, i'm referring to the peoples themselves. israelites and palestinians, and their ongoing feud. i'm just curious who's side everyone here is on, being that we have an international community here.

The kingdom of Jerusalem.

And people wonder why fanatical religious idiots fight for this godforsaken strip of land.

If I'm not wrong Salomon was the guy who told the two women fighting for the baby, he'd cut him in two and give both a half. So that's the Biblical solution: Threaten to flatten Jerusalem to the ground, if the fighting continues, then see who wants to protect it most.

There aren't any particularly attractive options in Israel. The two state option or twin/tri federal option seems to be the best of them because cooperation just isn't working, but that wouldn't be great either because the division of the land would be Israel getting coastline and Palestine getting mostly crap, and plus the interior of the country has already been Swiss cheesed with spots of Israeli settlers all over the place, and that makes a dual state harder to turn into a reality with every new year.

What seems most likely to happen is the historical norm: weaker group gets pushed out by stronger group.

Jews controlling the federal reserve is (another) decades-old anti-Semitic conspiracy theory that is not supported by facts.

Israel has had backing by the UN since its heyday though. A bit of rushed and clunky solution for the survivors among the Jewish diaspora that involved dislocating a pre-existing group that was already colonized. Then again pretty much all of western & central Asia is weirdly partitioned based on old colonial borders or ex Soviet satellites.

Muslims are about 2 billions, the only reason they are weaker group is their stubbornness to stick to antic and out of time beliefs, thus unable to produce intellectuals, promote useful ideas then form their own strong groups, like everyone else - especially the Jews.

@ blizz:

do some more research and get back to me. they run a snow of a lot more than you seem to realize.

have you ever wondered why it is, that politicians in the U.S. are ALLOWED to have dual citizenship with israel, let alone, any other country? and why the number of those with dual citizenship with israel always seems to continually increase?

have you ever wondered why it is, that "our greatest ally" has never fought in any of our wars?

have you ever wondered why it is, that we give billions in military aid to such a tiny little country in the middle of nowhere?

have you ever wondered why it is, that incoming presidents have to show their allegiance to such a tiny little country in the middle of nowhere?

if you're not questioning any of that, then you might want to turn your brain on.

Anti-Semitic Conspiracy Theory. Pure nonsense and banality.

Israel is strategically a very useful ally btw. Perhaps not as much as they used to be because US relations with the Arab world are (finally) looking on the up, but then again the total aid given these days is extremely small; less than 4 billion annually.

That’s because Israel is openly U.S./Western-friendly, unlike muslim theocracies which are usually openly anti-western. I mean, even Saudi Arabia which is officially “an ally” of the US, funds many jihadist groups. So Israel is like a reliable headquarter to the US in a region which is not “in the middle of nowhere” but of continous importance regarding energy resources, gas pipelines, oil production and so on.

Jews dont control global money flow though, that part is really conspiracy.

Adjusted for inflation, the US has spent a surplus of a trillion dollars within a few years to secure allies in strategic parts of the world, and they haven't even always been successful with it, i.e. southern Vietnam. The commitment to Israel is mild in comparison.

To be clear, I don't agree with how the US protects Israel in the UN from like... everything. But that is neither here nor there.

You dont have to directly fly from an airbase there or position your military troops. Having a reliable ally is a positional advantage by itself. Katar or other Arab countries are not a “unity” either and U.S. also backs them up when they play ball. But they are usually less stable, so alliences are less organic but conjunctural.

"Having a reliable ally"

what about israel is either reliable OR having to do with any alliance other than an incredibly parasitic one on the U.S.?

can you answer the questions i posed above? are you telling me, you never wondered about any of that?

Well, you can think of it as parasitic and not support it but obviousy your state, no matter which party governs, dont see it that way. And since they are not supporting Israel out of kind heartedness, it has to do with a strategic allience. That allience is not because df Jews owning all the banks and so on, because they dont. And not every Jewish person in the world of finance is an Israeli citizen anyway.
