You notice a thief hidden in the shadows behind you. There are, perhaps much more, than you think.
Halfling at door: Wait! I know you! You are shadow elf! We are the thieves of the shadow clan and you helped us once remember? Come in! Come in!
Everyone enters, and you see a few halflings and humans sitting at a round wooden table, playing cards. There is a bar at a corner, and a display cabinet containing all the prized treasures stolen from unfortunate victims. A sign hangs over the bar and reads:

Dagger of Fear 6000GP
Chance that opponent hit by this weapon will run away in fear, unable to attack. Undead and creatures immune or resistant to fear or mind spells are not affected.
Dagger +2 3000GP
Plate mail 900GP
Armor Class: 3

Armor Class: 1
Elven Chain Mail 8000GP
Armor Class: 5
This armor acts like a chain mail armor, but because it is extremely lightweight, spellcasters can wear this and still cast spells to full effect successfully.
Two Handed Sword +2: Static Blade 8000GP
A 2 handed long sword capable of delivering an extra lightning attack with every successful hit.
Damage: 1D10 +2
Special: +2D4 electrical damage
Battle Axe of Heavens 24000GP
An extremely potent weapon that can slay or maim most creatures with a single hit. Unfortunately, this weapon is extremly heavy, and only a warrior with a strength of 19 can use it at a cost of -6 to hit, and is reduced to one attack per round, which makes this weapon very unreliable. Nevertheless, this weapon is perfect for attacking medium level creatures. High leveled creatures are not affected, and in which case, would recieve 10D6 damage per hit.
Scroll of Cure Critical Wounds 900GP
Clerics can use this scroll to instantly heal a creature for 27 hit points of damage.
Scroll of Stinking Cloud 900GP
This spell creates a cloud of billowing gas to erupt into a large area, and all that is within this area would need to make a saving throw every few seconds or be rendered unconcious. The spell's duration would last for a few minutes, before the gas dissipates.
Scroll of Stone to Flesh 900GP
Turns petrified creatures back to normal.
Man from door: I see you have been staring at our list of magical items... they are expensive arent they? I know a way you can get a large sum of money, but if you are to get it, you have to split with us a portion, say 30:70 of the gold. Since most of it would be your effort, you keep the majority.
Bjorn: Why can't you get it yourself?
Man from door: Ahh, you see, it is guarded. Obviously, and we are..um unable to sneak past or defeat the creature. Well, many of our brave friends have... been petrified or killed instantly by it's deadly gaze. Yes, it is the basilisk, and no, mirrors do not help, for it's deadly attack is lethal to the flesh and blood, for it left the survivors poisoned to death. You kill the creature, you get the vast amount of gold stored in it's cave.
Quest Update
Kill basilisk in the tunnel to the north. The tunnel branches east and west, and the basilisk cave is to the east.
Bjorn: Oh by the way, you mentioned the surface nobles how do you go out of these caverns to the surface?
Man from door: Why to the west of the basilisk caves of course. You mean you came from the deeper caverns? I'm surprised you are still in one piece.

Who's quest was this? They need to choose the item's abilities. If not I'll make it up.
This amulet has poor decoration. It is made from a blend of pink and smokey quartz crystal. The gems themselves have a trade-in value of approxomately 15 gold. Although the material value is terrible, that is ignored by its immense practical value.
Amulet of the Helm is worn around the neck. Wearing this item does not disallow the use of additional neck pieces. (You can wear Amulet of the Helm with another item worn around the neck at the same time)
When equipped, Amulet of the Helm gives a +1 bonus to intelligence, a +1 bonus to wisdom, and a +2 bonus armor class.
This item gives a -1 penalty to THAC0 on anyone carrying this item. It doesn't have to be equipped in order to give this effect.

some1 we neeed a stone 2 flesh so i get two chances to beat the basilisk any way the dwarves got back with some gold. o wait we could have the dwarves dig a hole so we would come behind the basilisk what do you think?

I personally like the "dig a hole" idea, but I fear it will take too long, and the world would end..
I like that stone to flesh scroll too, we might actually need it...

I might have an idea. We can use a trap.
We can use the dwarves to dig a hole. But not a big one. I am sure that we can dig a hole big enough for that basilisk in a couple of hours. Then we can use our little flying friend over there (looks at tuapui) as a bait. When the basilisk falls - considering that it will - into the pit we kill it.
Bjorn: What if it does not fall into the pit?
Madmartigan: We run. Hehehe. I dont know you guys, but I know that it cannot be a match for me in running. hehehe

"If you had known better you can keep your big mouth shut. Now if you would care to explain why you PLAN to rob my fellows, maybe we wont kill you and take all YOUR stuff" ,snapped the man.
"Now Now, whats the big fuss?" ,the man from the door strode towards the newly formed crowd around the party. "What is the matter Mark?"
"These FELLOWs here were discussing how to rob you after your generous 10% discount. Now how should we deal with them?" ,replied Mark.
"Is that so?" ,the halfling stares at Shadow_elf with a sharp piercing glare. "Maybe if you care to explain your little problem, we might refrain from doing you any...unwanted harm. You know we did trust you before. You may have lost that, but you would lose much more if you do not give a good explanation."
Theives emerge from the shadows behind the party and grabs each member, placing a dagger at each of the party member's throats. You see no escape, except try to explain. Perhaps lying would help, but if they use any magical sensing methods, doom will befall you quickly.
