Once, he even polymorphed an innocent passerby into a chicken, and roasted him in the back yard and ate him! Even a whole party of the local guard tried to subdue him, and was brutally massacred. I don´t know how we should spend the monkey, but now that we found that 19 str ring, we have the option to purchase that cool-sounding axe.. maybe for madmartigan.
then we could buy a couple of plate mails, for me and madmartigan. I guess noone else can use one..
The thief has his poisonous dagger, and the mages have the metaspell amulet, and the robe of archmagi. That leaves Robinhood and Mr.Monk, and the alchemist.
I would hate to miss out on buying such a powerful item as the axe, and plate mails (since we cant afford full plate AND the axe) do ALOT more protecting than regular leather..
maybe with the monkey we have left we can buy the stinking could scroll? Maybe a mage (or 2) could learn that spell and use it later on from time to time

Read the Item description a few pages back. There is alot of good stuff and the axe is'nt really THAT good. But still considerably strong. Choose well.

Averdeen:"I believe we have a visitor."
Madmartigan drops Shadow_Elf and in three big steps he's out of the shop and pins the goblin Nidhgrin against the wall, his feet dangling a few inches above the ground* (OOC: sorry for this powerplay madmartigan, just getting to rejoin )
"Aaah! It wasn't me! Put me down you... big boogie man! I command you to let go of me immediately! Hmmmpf"
*Nidhgrin attempts to get loose but cannot escape from the mighty grip.
Madmartigan:"What do we do with this fellow? He doesn't look very dangerous to me."*
"I am a powerful sorcerer, I can turn you into..."
*Averdeen:"Not again, why are you always bothering my customers you skinny crazy man? There's nothing here for you and no, I won't accept your fools gold. Back to your cave with you."*
"You will regret this Averdeen, this cave is mine. Miiine, you hear me! The only reason why you're still here... Aw, you're hurting me you big mean boogie man! Put me down, put me down! I command you..."
*Averdeen:sighs, "Put the irritating skinny man down please. He won't hurt you, he's his own biggest threat. His name is Nidhgrin, he calls himself an alchemist and I've had to let healers come to his cave a dozen of times when one of his 'experiments' ended in a violent disaster again."
Madmartigan:still confused, drops the goblin who immediately jumps a few meters away then starts dusting off his clothes.*
"Ah, that was about time. You're lucky I didn't attack you, but I gave you some time since you killed the dreadful basilisk that wandered around here. Now, what do we have here? A band of warriors in the middle of nowhere? You must have a purpose. I can foretell your future for a few gold coins." grins broadly but stops as he sees that the reactions are not that positive "Aberdeen, you be selling MY potions and jars to huge stinky prices again! How rude! He gets them from me you know. And what do I get in return? Not a single crum of bread. He's a scoundrel, he'll walk away with all your precious gold." Nidhgrins eyes go wide as he sees the party is carrying a reasonably large amount of gold "You could better buy those from me. Sure steel and all that is Aberdeens business, but he's too stupid to even know how to use my potions, hihihihihi. Wares you buy from me always have the right effect, I can guarantee you. Besides... O wait, what was your name again" Nidhgrin points at bjorn190

I think that we should get an the static sword, 2 full plate mail, 1 elvin chain mail, 2 stinking cloud scrolls, 2 stone to flesh scrolls. In that order.
This goes to a cost of 21760 gold. We have enough!!! We could consider getting a dagger of fear to give to either me or Athimus. We can get enough gold by selling the items that Mad mentioned.

Since I am in this shop and my robes are no more than rags by now, I just would like to know, keen halfling if your shop contains some walking pants or something similar as well as a cloak for the cold outside the tunnels. I think I've enough gold yet so I should not take it from my rescuers. I earn so much already..
I dont need anything else as long as I am not wielding any sort of weapon and am no mage.
I would feel I think much better when I'm outta here. I have to say that this place frighten me a little after this mad beast..
