Somebody mentioned nomad archers before in this thread?
It was my (maybe others too) early suggestions to have horseback archers in game. Well, now there is these sylvan centaurs, and nothing wrong with them, but it would be cool to have less powerful ones aswell. Sylvans shoot twice and are enchanted with mirth. But nomad archer could only shoot once, maybe a bit more stronger but still so that it would be weaker than sylvan centaur. Maybe being upgrade of basic nomad, having that desert guide or whatever ability it is.

hey how's this,
i just started making their animations, Keeper and Sorcerer Night Elves, i don't know who created the Ranger Night Elf but it looks cool, it was in acid.iconrate.net, so maybe AcidDragon? dunno. however, i was thinking to make a female night elf with an elvish sword, but if anyone else is interested you're welcome to make it by yourself, with its animation of course. we can replace either golem building or neutral unit building, since there is conflux town no need for an extra building to hire them, right? i'll post the animations of Keeper and Sorcerer Night Elves here, soon  .

no, not me.
it was one of the Ancients (co-creators of the Acid Cave) - Dru. I still have the full animation somewhere. If Dru agrees, I can send it to you.

thank you so much! i really appericiate the permission for this unit, give mine and friends' regards to Dru . also thx for your help AcidDragon, this is a step forward.

wow, they all look nice. like i said, i think a female night elf unit would be better as for the fourth one, that Bladedancer or Spider Queen, dunno.
EDIT: by the way i recolored the Sorcerer night elf just like the ones in Age of Wonders, here,

Hmm, portrait is cool, but this creature won't be in wog. Thompson's project is better than Dru's. I think better chance have this half-centaur. Make all animation, k1ng!
P.S. That night elf mage is bad. I like have in wog this half-cantaur (mayby he will shot magic arrow? do shoot animation ) .

I must agree with Fnord - it does look a bit odd. Maybe a less intessive and darker pupple?
but the animation itself is VERY nice.

Perhaps it's just because I used an old CGA (4 colour) display for many years when I was younger, but I have an aversion to the magenta/purple colour for most computer game objects. This is a little odd, because purple is actually one of my favourite colours.
But personally, I would prefer a more "normal" skin colour (either light or dark--doesn't matter). Purple skin seems like it should be reserved for strange creatures or weird aliens, and not humanoids or human-animal crossbreeds.

so, you don't think that Night Elves are strange creatures? .i, more likely, interested in Night Elf race after i played xbox game called 'Kingdom Under Fire', they've been introduced as the Dark Legion, allied with Orcs, using strange creatures(ex. giant scorpions) and so on. personally, i don't really like the ones in Warcraft 3, they seem more likely different versions of regular Elves, nothing really special. also after i've seen the types in Age of Wonders, i'm even more interested in this race(spider queen would be my fav.) there are alot of different types of Night Elves out there, imagination is unlimited after all, such as half-centarue, half-spider, half-vamp....they don't have a regular skin or hair colors neither, i've seen black, dark blue, purple, dark purple, pink skins and purple, dark blue, scarlet, cream-white hairs, so it can be changed, right? i'll try three seprate Night Elves with different colors (Dark Sorcerer, Grove Keeper and Night Witch) and see how that works. i think it'll pity not to have these fantastic dark creatures in WoG. i'll make up the skin color for that Grove Keeper , i hope i can come up with something, but i don't think any other color than purple would give the same excitment look for that unit.

Just an idea, the option to have Conflux creatures replaced by neutral ones...how about an option to replace it with night elf creatueres?
And k1ng, lookin real good. Try a mountian giant or Priestess of the moon ( the white tiger one)

thx . i was thinking to make a female night elf riding white tiger too, i think i can give it a try, but i'd like to finish animation of Grove Keeper and a better look for Sorcerer first before even i start that.
by the way i re-recolored,
the first skin color was too bright and second was too dark but i think this one is ok, and i don't want to change it again.
by the way what do you think about the color of sorcerer?
i wanted him to look like from Age of Wonders, but i can change it, if it doesn't look good.
