It wasn't Trashid, it was Gazolin4.

i know that it is a staff...but i meant a size of a rider...
i know the difficulties...but is it easier or better to rescale only the elephant but delete the rider?! i guess that it attack but not the rider

I think the stick he uses is for giving orders, so the beast knows what to do. At least from what I saw in different animations. It could be rescaled, but is really necessary? I mean, with 3DS, the rider sprite is very well designed, and bigger the beast is, more impressive (in the 2 hexes limit we have).

If I remember right Praetorians threw their spear then used their sword for close battle ... though that would probably be much more work to make. Would do great as Triarii, as they mostly used their spear (javelin).
Otherwise... Wohoo! Finally roman units! ^^
