Some H5 units fit in H3, some not. Lizard Warrior, how did you extract creatures frames from H5? What program did you use?

H3 style is blocked voluntary on campaigns story and outfits since years. Even games as Civilization have thousand modders making all possible kind of units, and then MODPACK makers selecting the best and creating genius scenarios/mods, see Kal-EL huge mod or Rise-of-Mankind.
Today it is possible to modify, improve and animate Civ models (and not only) and insert them into Heroes. The problem as I see it, is the lack of creativity, energy and time in finalizing and creating a realistic transition to their insertion in the game. Making a out-sider model is not enough, you have to back it with a map, a story, a mod, or even a whole campaign, which means time of work multiplied by 1000.
I would never use a Civilization or WoW model to just make a random map and kill with a tank goblins around, it has no sense. But I can see how amazing would look a campaign about the second world war with only custom units fitting only this campaign style. I know it is unfeasible, because too much work, but one can dream. (Etoprostoya, interested?)
Making H3 style units has no sense in my eyes unless you have Alex-ander's skill. What's the point in replacing perfect models with amateur ones? Just for a change ok, but will it be played long time?
Creating a database with various style can only inspire mod-makers or map-makers (if there are still some around) and give fantastic game-play experience. For those who still enjoy playing the game, not only lurking for a second and make fast conclusions. The player can be offered to write the history, somehow, and he will love it.

I use H5 framework,only resized,but it doesn't work if you don't have the game.
@Salamadre:Well,at RPG games, like Aoe,Aom etc.The problem is the details aren't very good worked, because they're small and they can be seen only if they are resized

In games like Rome: Total War you see the units close-up too. That would be an excellent game to create new units out of. I tried, but instead managed to delete the game somehow...

It is not a problem finding games with good units, there are thousands. It is harder to find the appropriate models for your campaign. Not every model will have its place.

True. But the Total War serie has pretty much every model from medieval and ancient soldiers and heroes and stuff. Hero portraits too.
Elephants, elephant arcers, camels, cataphract, cataphract archers, legionares, sparta warriors, catapults, ballistas, barbarians, several differnet types of archers, etc... And in later series you find more modern weapons too.
