hello everyone, I've just registered
(I already know EDN, I think I saw him on celestial heavens forums, I'm either Fauch or Le_Faucheur there)
I would like to make some new creatures for the game, I saw the tutorial for photoshop, but I downloaded the gimp it looks like I will have to find a tutorial for it. I should have time tomorrow.
I quickly read some topics to see your ideas. there are some really cool stuffs. and I was wondering what that "bies" is. at 1st I thought it was something you invented, but I read somewhere, something like "hell keeper" or something. what's the story of it?
evil hydra : I prefer that firehound, on the left
I don't like the mage titan. titans are almost gods, mages aren't, that's why they spend their time studying in universities and they wear those robes.
wog_edn : hum, I thought about making something like that. a winged basilisk. I want to have the 2 creatures at each level to have different habilities, but I could find no good idea with the way the basilisk looks.

Well, I thought of a Wyrm/Serpent-like creature. Something between a dragon and a snake, just in giant form. I don't think I would be able to make the whole animation though probably if I were patient enough.

that skully titan mage is horrible. some kind of mages' experiment? 
wyrm... I'll ask my translator. I think it means "vouivre", if yes I kinda see what it is. it would fit in the fortress. level 6. but it may look a bit like the wyvern. if the habilities are different enough it would be good.

Agree with Fauch about that mage thingy...
Well, this is the Wyrm.
And this is a Serpent, monstrous version of it would look better and fit HOMM better though...

wow, it's bigger than I thought. fortress, level 7, swallows enemies (like the sea monster from heroes 4)
the 2nd one looks like an archeopteryx (or maybe a mix between an archeopteryx and a pteranodon)
it could be a cool creature.

I may use it as the lvl 7 for the rampart.
do I really have to make like 100 images to fully animate it?

Since that seems to be mostly only recoloring, it would take half hour to recolor the whole thing
