QP??!! Most of that sucks! I like a couple of them, that's it. If that's what you need to get a QP it's really weird that the Rise of Neutral didn't get one ... where most of them had much higher quality and full animations too and you recommend that for a QP??!!

I like the horse hydra, the hell centaur and the devilish twinklebeast (even if medusa body and hydra body don't fit)

btw, I didn't mean my mix looked crappy, I meant I don't know how to do (yet)

Well, the only ones I like are Devilish Twinklebeast and Swine ... although Swine is extremely simple and takes one minute to make. Otherwise there are errors on all of them

I'm new here, so sorry if some of these ideas have been mentioned or done already. Anyway, I have been discussing elsewhere about an adult version of the Heroes 3 game, but there is no need to go into that here. I would like to share some of my ideas for your interpretation and consideration, though.


My first idea separates the angels from the castle faction and creates their own Haven Faction. The Priestess is a girl in light colored robes who isn't much of an attacker, but can cast the cure spell on units. She upgrades to a Missionary, who can cast mass cure at random, and can cast the prayer spell on friendly units.

The second unit is the Cherub Archer, a flying ranged attacker. This might seem pointless, but flying allows them to used ranged attacks without object penalties, and it can get the heck away when an enemy gets close. This upgrades into a Cupid, which has a pacifist shot which can cause the enemy to be unable to attack for a turn, similar to song of peace from HoMM 4.

The third unit is based partially on the white tiger from HoMM 4, and is called the Tigress Warrior, and she is so fast that she can attack twice before the foe can even retaliate. They upgrade into the Tigress Valkyrie, who trade their twin sabers in for a lance. Not only do they attack twice, but they also have unlimited retaliations, just like the Royal Griffin.

Next up we have the mechanical unit, the Gate Guardian. It's immune to   mind spells, and has some good magic resistance too, but it takes twice as much damage from water spells. It is designed to guard the gates to heaven, but it is quite slow. It upgrades into the Divine Machine, which loses it's weakness to water spells, and is further bolstered by two different types of ranged attacks. For far away opponents, it fires a blast of magical light that does twice as much damage to Inferno creatures, and this attack is unaffected by long distance, but can't fire through castle walls. It makes for this with it's special close range ranged attack, where it fires a pair a fists into the opponent for 1.5x it's normal damage, but no Inferno damage bonus. It has no melee attack, so it even uses this at point blank range, but can't retaliate. It's long distance beam has a limited number of shots, but it's fist attack is unlimited. It does come with a unique drawback in that it is completely immobile, and even teleport won't affect it. It has high defenses however.

Originally, I had planned the next unit to be in a different game, so I put the Pegasus here, but since we have Pegasus already, here we can have the Griffin Rider instead. It has the attack and return ability, but not the no retaliation ability, so it will take damage if it doesn't take out the foe. It's upgrade is the Chariot Rider, in which rather than an angel on it's back, there is a chariot being pulled by the griffin that the angel rides in. In addition to it's attack and return ability, it also gains the champion's charging ability, so the farther it goes to attack, the more damage it does, plus it gets to return after the foes retaliation. Nice! Of course, it has the flying ability.

Next comes the Angel and Archangel, same as they were in the Castle Towns, but with some marked down stats and costs since they are now level six creatures. The Archangel still has the resurrection spell, however.

Finally, we come to the strongest Haven Creatures, the Ophanim, a four armed, eight winged angel that has unlimited retaliation, and has a blessed attack, always doing maximum damage. This upgrades to the Seraphim, who on top of the other abilities, always has positive morale, hates devils, and retaliates in all directions. Mighty powerful indeed!

I have some ideas for alternate upgrades for already existing creatures. The Pixie can upgrade into a Fairy Archer, who wields a cute little bow, and can ignore object penalties. This helps make up for it's measly 3HP, as the Sprite is fast and can get across the screen quickly, but is then open to a bevy of attacks that will devastate it. The Skeleton likewise also upgrades into a Skeleton Archer, for added versatility, although it doesn't gain armor like the Skeleton Warrior does. The Familiars remain unchanged, but have a weak hypnotize ability. They can hypnotize enemy units at close range if there total HP divided by 1/4 is equal or greater than the total HP of the enemy stack. When I say total HP, I mean of the whole stack, so multiply the stacks HP by the number in the stack, and thats the total HP (minus any battle damage, natch) They can only use it as close range though, and it only last for the turn, but it isn't considered a spell in this case so it can even work on Black Dragons, provided you have enough familiars.

The Manticores can upgrade into the Chimera, which have an addition goat head, multiple snakes instead of tails, a breath attack(2 hex), and can retaliate in all directions. Plus, when retaliating, if any enemy is in the three hexes behind it, they get poisoned from the snake fangs. When they retaliate, they don't use their breath attack, however.

The Pit Fiends and Pit Lords can be replaced with Succubus and Succubus Mistress (no relation to the HoMM 5 units) and also carry a whip, as well as summon demons, but it adds the addition of being able to cast a fireball spell that damages creatures in an area.

Finally, a new dungeon related unaligned creature called a Kari, which is pretty much half spider, half human, with an exoskeletal spider half and a mouth below where her human body and spider torso meet. Here is an example of what one looks like, I do hope you forgive the crudeness of the image, it's from an old game.

always lucky, cast fortune. (if ever I can't do it, maybe there is a way to give him the ghost behemoth ability, or I could even replace the ghost behemoth)

lvl 6 neutral : druid
shooter, binds enemies, summon sylvanian guards

lvl 7 : a magical dragon of fire

lvl 4 alt : succubus temptress
hit and run, may cast frenzy and that spell which reduces defense to improve your attack.

This is HOMM3, not 4. It's called Castle

Ghost Behemoth ability is flying.

Balrog should be level 10 or something... non-shooter, non-caster, but with powerful damage and attack, also magic resistance. Two hex attack, because of the whip.
