Alright, I've made my decision. Mvass, you will be accepted into the F.O.G. but unlike the others you will have to start from the bottom. This simply means you are on probation, stripped of your powers. You wil have to prove yourself to us and make a solemn oath that you will not try to take over or destroy the F.O.G. ever again.

Mvass: I, Mvass, swear to be a dutiful God who acts in harmony with the other members of the Federationn of Gods. If this agreement is broken, I give premission to be put in the HMLP.
How am I supposed to do good things without powers? Oh, yeah...
Mvass walks out of the F.O.G temple. He goes to a nearby village. He walks into the shabbiest cottage.
Peasant: NO! We only have a few copper pieces left! Don't take anything else, please! We are starving!
Mvass: Relax. I'm not from the collection agency.
Peasant: Oh. We have nothing to give to beggars.
Mvass: I'm certainly not a beggar.
Peasant: Then... what are you?
Mvass: I am a god.
Peasant: From the F.O.G?
Mvass: Yes.
Peasant: NO! PLEASE, DON'T PUNISH ME OR MY FAMILY! I'LL COME TO THE TEMPLE TO PRAY EVERY DAY! I PROMISE!
Mvass: I have not come to punish you.
Peasant: Oh. By the way, which god are you, Your Worship?
Mvass: I am the God of Fire, the newest member of the F.O.G. I have come to help you.
Peasant: Help... Thank you.
Mvass puts his hand into his bag. He takes out four goblets and four bowls of food.
Mvass: Whatever drink you or a family member wants will appear in one of the goblets. Same for the food in the bowls. However, they will only work if you are a loyal follower of the F.O.G.
Peasant: I will go to the temple right now!
Mvass disappeared and reappeared in the Room of the Gods in the temple.

I agree.
I also would consider allowing him the power of a small gas cooker as parole, so he can toast us Divine Marshmallows and then we could have a Camper's Party.

Yep. He will remain on probation for at least a month. I will grant him the powers of a charcoal grill so he can make us some burgers and hot dogs. As soon as his probation is up I will present him with his godly title on the first page with the others.

I just saw my section on the front page and I have to say that actually I steal the batteries of remotes instead. And I currently have 184,935,762 paper clips and pencils stashed away. (All from non-believers, naturally.)

Here is my idea for the FOG hierarchy:
The Creator (unreachable)
God of Gods
Major God
God
Lesser God
Demigod
Deity
Minor Deity
Applicant
All members of God status or higher will have the right to vote on member acceptance.
All members of Demigod status or higher will have the right to vote on other FOG issues.
Inactive members will be degraded.
very active members will be promoted.
The degrading and promotion of members will be decided by vote.
The status a new member has will be determined by the number of votes in favor of his joining (can't be higher than God).
All in favor of this, say "aye", or "yea" or something. I dunno.
Also, as founder and the one who came up with the whole idea, I suggest that I be the God of Gods.

Not really. Mighty Mage would be either a Major God or a God of Gods. The most active of members will get Major God status, while the non-active get Lesser God. The rest (except Mvass  ) get God status. This will occasionally change.

You do have quite a reputation among the roleplayers of HC. Do you honestly expect them to treat you exactly the same way as they treat eachother? You have to earn your respect.
