Yeah I agree, this is a thread that generations for eternity could add to, it has the potential to live forever over time. It is light hearted and the continuation of Consis's curse to fogunnar, is it not Tavern worthy because there is no "direct conversation" between spammers posters? Just wondering...
I meant to reply to this before, but forgot. I moved it 'cuz it was was getting ucked up, my hope was that moving it to VW might get more people to see it and partake in some fun cursing - and which time I could delete the uck and move it back. Of course if it's left to die there - then I'll likely end up deleting it.
Something I think people don't quite understand, is that the VW stuff is not doomed to deletion without exception. I've put lots of things there just to see if they'll catch fire again before moving it back. When I move a thread it doesn't always mean that I think its crap ( alot of the time it does mean that tho ) - sometimes in Tavern someone will post a good thread idea and it doesn't catch on right away, so I'll move it sooner than let it drift back and be forgotten.
The reality is that the VW is more active *sigh* so if something looks to me like it's being missed in Tavern I'll send it where it might get some love

No, its not - because if it gets noticed and people are having fun with it again - I send it back and all's well. Its not like they will drop it once it goes back to the tavern

You know in a way it almost seems like the Wastelands is the new Tavern. If you remember a few years back, the Tavern was filled with off the wall funny threads, word games, story threads...you name it. What happened?

Recent studies show that creative people have a mean streak they need to exercise. Without a positive outlet for said streak their creativity dries up.
So what you lament as lost creativity in the Tavern of the Rising Sun I call the chickens coming home to roost. If you want the days of bedlam to return all you need to do is convince the mods how useless, archaic, and unneccessary certain rules are. You know, the ones that require people to be *ugh* civil towards each other.

I dont know, we been playing in the truth thread for years & never seen much QP at all.
Can you describe why Leo?
Mostly all you do is ask a question & a person tells the truth about it.
I was curious if you can be more specific on where you would like the QP to go in the thread ?
