If i remember correct, the fastest unit was the champion, (and the phoenix of corse) but donīt know if this counts as a simple human

Now another one for the really experts of you guys
There was a creature in Homm2 that changed is optic and his weapon in homm3 a little bit. It had the same weapon in homm2 as in homm3 a specific upgraded lvl1 creature has.
Do you know what creature i mean ???

Would it be a minotaur then? It did have the same weapon in HoMM2 that a hobgoblin uses in HoMM3.

I think you may be right. Anyway, as I know, the only two lv1 creatures that change their weapons when upgraded are goblin and pikeman.
