You´re right it´s the minotaur, but the lvl 1 creature is not the hobgoblin, because the minotaur in homm2 has used a ball-and-chain weapon, same as the .....gnoll maurauder in homm3!!!

I think you may be right. Anyway, as I know, the only two lv1 creatures that change their weapons when upgraded are goblin and pikeman.
Sorry, perhaps you misunderstood my bad english, but i ment that the creature that i was asking for, changed his weapon in homm3. In homm2 THIS creature had the same weapon as a upgraded lvl1 creature in homm3.

I'm right anyway . So, who can list the creatures that switched alignment between HoMM2 and HoMM3?

Ok I can...
Considering that wizard = tower, warlock = dungeon, knight = Castle, barbarian = stronghold, sorceres = rampart, necromancer = necropolis
wizard -
halfling level 1- in H3 is neutral
board level 2- in H3 is neutral - with hobgobling ride them
roc level 4- in H3 is stronghold
knigth -
peasant level 1 - in H3 neutral
warlock -
centaur level 1 - in H3 is rampart
gargoyle level 2 - in H3 is tower
griffin level 3 - in H3 is castle
Hydra level 5 - in H3 fortress
green dragon level 6 -in H3 Rampart
barbarian-
trolls level 5- in H3 neutral
sorceres -
sprites level 1 - in H3 conflux
monks level 4 - in H3 castle
phoenix level 6 - in H3 conflux
necromancer
mummies level 3 - in H3 neutral
desert-
genies - in H3 tower
medusas - in H3 dungeon
all elementals - in H3 conflux
and dissapear some units like:
rangers - knight
paladin- knight
nomads
and some variations
wolf - wolf raiders
boar - boar with hobgoblin
archers(she) - archers(he)
well maybe I don't remember some creatures but I think this are all...

The minotaur in HoMM2 uses an axe,not a mace!The minotaur in HoMMI uses a mace!
And one more:the goblin does not change weapons!The HoMM2 goblin,the HoMM3 goblin and hobgoblin,all of em use the same weapon!Waitasec,maybe I can post u pics to prove it!

Oooooooookay. Now that the minotaur business is settled, here is a new question- which creature in any of th homm series has flies around them when on the battlefield? (several possibilities)

Now two others for the "older" players:
Which creature could paralyze another creature in battle and which creatures could strike twice a round?
I´m not asking for homm3 creatures !!

In HoMM2, cyclopes could paralyze, while crusaders striked twice. And since when is a 13 year dude old?

Yes the crusaders strike twice, but you forgot the wolves, this little dogs strike twice too...
