I'm wondering if people here who got "quality posts" did not get any - will be they saying the same things?
I've watched "Solomon" the movie yesterday, and I realized... - If Solomon was here he will say that "quality thing" is just a vanity... nothing more...
Even for me i feel, that if i got some quality post - i'll start thinking differently.. I'll be protecting my QP. Everyone is like that. It's normal
People like to be flattered, because this way they see that they got reputation between the others. Reputation is one of the reasons to live.
Just my 2 quality cents

Yeah, like me I'm like new here and, almost everybody else has above 100 posts, and i have now something like 30 or so, so incubus is right once you have like 5 stars for a while just take a new name

Take pride in the fact that your topics and ideas are generating quality points for everyone else. And remember your ranking is supreme hero so it's only natural that everyone will use your name in their posts.
Brush aside the casual insults and continue your posts, ideas, threads, creatures and opinions. Remember that insults are not arguments.
How would we have any fun if everyone had the same outlook.

Here is the thing - you got the faith or belief that you will post to this board one and same thing - no matter if you have or don't have quality posts marked? Then how come you come here to "Quality Posts" thread and defend yourself?
As I can see you can be good actor (in the text following) or drama writer? Why not try to post again to this board message, but imagine that you don't have "quality posts" - what will be that message? Then we can continue our dispute...
People just believe in attributes, artifacts, titles and such things - they make them unequal, unique to the others - as one man is often bored by the equality of everything - he is in search for somethin' different. From 700 people here - two are having about 500-1000 posts, 20 quality stars, 5 are moderators. Those people for this little world here are different from others - they have THE ATTRIBUTES. People start feel to them kind of cult or somethin. That's normal. Those people they change soon or later. Because they can now "rule".

I just think that....
If penalties are applied and qp's are taken away from people, then that means that I now have twice as much right to insult someone before I get banned. Is that fair? No it's not. The moderators NEED to do something about this, it is a serious flaw. For those of us who don't really set out to preserve our points, but to state opinions, (however invalid), then some of us can post 5 bad messages and still end up looking like a normal person. However, if someone like Incubus were to do the same, he'd be long past Bad-Mannered and into the realm of Downright Rude, LOL.
And no Sha, I wasn't TESTING anything, I was INSULTING you. I am still extremely mad, that Mr 'I don't care about QP's' refused to INSULT me back. After all, you dared me first and I did the dare. You dishonourable coward, you did not fulfill your end of the bargain.

I have visited this board amazingly many times during my stay but I still have time do/think other things than just be here. It seems that you don't have any life outside this community or do you? Or why do you care so much what this one coward piece of snow is saying? It shouldn't be so damn important you that do I insult you or not if I dared you. I didn't want to insult you. That has nothing to do with QP's or that other crap but I thought I respect you so much I wouldn't go into that. I just thought you were blinded a moment when I said "I dare you".
I just ended up joking you in avatar thread and others. That is me. I don't go insulting people or fight with them just I because they dare me. I learned that lesson already younger and maybe you should learn that too. Or we are just too different. All people can't go along you know. What you are saying right now is like:

I look into that issue and think what would I post if I wouldn't have any stars or would have even penalties. I'm not sure would I do so very differently.
*One of my cousins said something like this halfjokingly when he "dared" me to punch him when were fifteen. He ended being in the floor empty gaze in his eyes and his nose completely in blood. It wasn't funny. He wanted to "test" me. I don't know did I pass the test and I don't care.
He never asked me to any of his "tests" again.
BTW maybe those penalties should take more from members who have some stars or posts already. Because they should know better how to behave...

Nice post, you came out all against 'testing' and 'daring' people because you claim to know what it's like to be dared. I bet all of us have punched a relative in the mouth before, I know I've been dared and I tell you what; I never back down from a dare.
So you've come out claiming that these things lead to nothing but sour tastes in your mouth, yet it doesn't detract from the fact that only a few days ago you DARED me to lose a quality point, and as far as I'm concerned, I did. Now you're the one who looks like the cousin lying flat on the floor with blood gushing out of his broken nose and a vacant look in those eyes of yours. I tell you what: NEVER DARE anyone if you're not willing to do the dare yourself, and never take up a dare if you're not fully prepared to have the other person do exactly as you have done.
I can take an insult, and I care not one whit about whether you 'respect' my quality points. You're nothing but a boy from Finland who thinks you can take a snap at me without repercussions. Don't play the honourable line with me son, it doesn't wash.
PS: I have two jobs, my own apartment, my own car, my own everything. I got a really good life, Sha, I just come here to relax while I sip on coffee. (It's either that or watch Neighbours!) Oh yes, I also play Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Have you ever heard of that game?

Sha-Men, what does "Sha(e)_ga" mean? Because in Bulgarian there is a word that is pronounced this way and it means "joke". I think it's not just a coincidence. Is this all a joke?

It sounds like a line from those freaking Back to the Future films where Martyn went crazy everytime someone said "chicken" to him. You know there is difference in this virtual community and real one. I bet you don't know what it is maybe some day you learn it.

Usually it goes like this against me:
1. QUALITY POINTS...You refer to quality points all the time. What I usually say about quality points (if you have noticed) is pretty much joke. Don't take them too seriously. Hey, they are just some lame numbers and stars under your avatar. So this comes to question why are you talking about quality points if you don't care about them? I remember me saying that it's the same if they give them too me because only I can do is post to this forum. I also remember you agreed...
2. COWARD...So I dared you in great message board and now I'm such lame coward. Whoa, I wish you would know something about me REALLY but I leave not to tell anything more because you could really wash it away with that "boy" comment. Which makes me laugh. And yes all darings usually end up flat. Real life has enough excitement in my opinion without darings. I dared you just to write something into that thread and maybe think what I really said because my message in that "last reply..." had some points. But all you did see was I DARE YOU. This kinda tells what kinda person you are more than all those nicely done messages you send. Or maybe it's cultural thing. Never knows...
3. FAKE...Fake as they come? What the snow is this? Fake? So you think I'm so kind of actor or roleplayer here in forum, huh? If I'm that I say that you have the role of queen here. I don't have any substance? Yes, not right now...I'm all laugh.
4. PEOPLE...Oh, this is your all time favorite with anyone. You say "What I have heard people don't like you". That is like some ten year old talking to someone who hate: "You won't get any friends because you are so stupid." You have used it also against other people...interesting...
I tried to play nice with you but that doesn't seem to be enough for you. I'm usually very good seeing what kind of people everyone is deep down but gotta admit you took me of guard.

You made lot of sense when you say that people think that they are some kind of cult or something and also that people are into attributes. It's human nature.
But there are some exceptions. Some people really don't care about attributes. They just look what people say/do and then think how this person is.
I believe you have seen these people here but haven't just recognised them...

All oppinions are equals and should be accepted as equal.
well yeah maybe someone is smarter typing in thread, maybe someone is better at writing english, maybe someone went to harvard.
We are all not same and one person, but we do all have to be respected and accepted for our oppinnions no matter quality.

Sha. Tell me of ONE thing that you've said which you firmly believe in. You claim not to take stars seriously at all, but when it comes to LOSING one, your legs go weak and you shake at the knees. Please don't post about stuff that you say you care nothing about when in reality, you care about them more than you do anything else on this board.
I don't know where you get this 'Queen' stuff from. I never claimed to be anything other than myself and I have never ordered people to obey me (well, not that I can remember *smile*). As far as I know, you want to become a Moderator on the board, so perhaps it's not about me, but moreso about YOU....
Perhaps YOU'RE the one who doesn't want to jeopardize his chances of being a MODERATOR. You like sucking up don't you? Want to please everyone, by have really flexible opinions and trying to tread the line carefully while attemtping to come out at the end looking all wise and mature. Anyone who has read your posts will have seen this. Sha, I just want to know, why are you such a try-hard? You're full of bullsnow ideals that you don't have any conviction in, you couldn't make up your mind if your life depended on it and if I was a Mod, I'd think very very carefully about having Gumby Sha Men onboard. Stop kissing arses and whimpering about grannies. Your indecisiveness wouldn't be so sickening were it not for your idiocy to pretend to know what it is that you're actually trying to do.
PS: you haven't posted anything that even remotely sounds like a joke about red stars. You even came out against them after you 'supposedly' lost one. Have you ever fought for something you feel was right? No, I didn't think so, you regret everything after you do it.

I think I say pretty clearly there what I belive into. I want to usually ask that from other people too.
You are saying that I'm flexible in opinions. Sorry I have read too much some eastern philosophy were it is said to be flexible or you break.
I am flexible and usually you have to be in community into certain point. I can't do thing if you can't live with my characteristics because that is what I am. Maybe I'm just lurker who never goes into action. But you see that when I did goto action example in "the retired" thread I was attacked against. That isn't really couraging you know.
What comes to that one point I "lost" you should the dates of those posts again and see that I didn't comment whole thing anyway but Incubus asked me about it. As said I'm flexible but don't push it too much there is certain point that when I go over some line too. I'm no ass licker but I'm not ass kicker either.
I'm not really into moderating. As you have said maybe people don't like me. As moderators I would miss all the having of quality and stars and such...*Laughs*
I have gathered some anger and yes it's only some "acting" stuff or maybe not.
That is your decision.
