thanks, it was definitely a learning experience.
BTW it's basically pastels(chalk) with acrylic for the clouds and a little acrylic reaper that I pasted on the picture.

It's good to be back and to see that everyone made the best of the 2 weeks, as well.  This 8th round was chalk-full of talent...and then some! It seems to me that everyone added a "touch of class" to their showcases and honed their skills more than ever; now that we are getting down to crunch time. And for that, I thank you all! 
I'd now like to share some comments & questions about what I heard & saw from my fellow contestants, so here we go:
William - "Modify" had it all! Great beats, nice peaks & valleys, a good flow the whole way through, and a great coming-together of all the elements at the end. This is the closest thing to a "professional club song" that I have heard from you so far...and it was really not that far off either.
As for parts 27 & 28, they were dwarfed by the quality of "Modify".
Milena - Your dancing was great! *Just joking* 
Although your essay/sermon had a slow pace at times, it was filled with good intonation, emotion, and intelligence. You started off with another great topic that kept me eagerly awaiting the "lesson-at-the-end", but also enjoying the stories leading up to it.
Kookastar - Your "HC Snow White" was amazing!  Not only did you add another character in the 2nd frame (I think that it's Consis), add movement to your characters' limbs, and create amazing sets (including ingeniously chosen desktop themes), but you incorporated everything into a familiar story...while making it completely unique! (i.e. You cut it short in all the right places, added hilarious dialogue, and customized it to HC.) Props to you! 
FoG - Your "Fields of Gold" is simply beautiful. If there was a smiley that looked like someone kissing their pinched fingers and saying "magnifique" (as a chef would, after tasting a great dish) then I would have used it to describe how I feel about your picture.
I want to stress that your picture evokes an emotion in me, not so much a thought, and that is always a powerful thing to do with art. So, I both thank you and applaud you for it!
P.S. How did you get your picture online? Did you use a digital camera or scan it?

yeah, William, the song Modify is wicked 
if I were to say one thing though, it would be to pump up the bass a bit more to give it a more solid sound.
but well done
And I got some tangerine dream music as well, it's quite good, especially "White Eagle".  I dno if I said this already

Thanks for that TA, actually White Eagle is one of the better TD songs.
Have you heard of Horizon or Alchemy of the Heart or Drunken Mozart in the Desert by TD?
I sorta get my inspiration from TD in some ways
Also I was wondering, if you still wanna hear some of my music, could I create a thread, or do you not wish to listen to anymore, just wondering?

I failed to submit this week.
Thanks to everyone who has voted for me along the way, I had fun, but in the end I just couldn't go on
I will finish Val's story one day, and play with playdoh on a lonley Friday night occassionally!!!

Thanks Kookastar, it was a total blast having you take part in this talent contest.
As for my comments/questions Post, I will have it up sometime tomorrow...I hope.  {I'm switching internet providers and I'm not sure how long it will take me to install & configure the new modem.}
As for Lady_Milena's request to have the next round last 2 weeks, I will have to decline. You see, I was planning on giving the Finalists an extra week to prepare their last Posts, and I find that having back-to-back delays might kill the contest's momentum. So, this next week will go ahead as normal (i.e. Friday night deadline) and then, the contestants will have 2 weeks to "do what they do best".
 There is still over 21 hours left to vote HC members! Don't be shy to let me know which of the 3 contestants' talents tickled your fancy.

I think that the website that I posted my songs on only works now with the most recent versions of both explorer and firefox.  
I'm curious if anybody can get it to work without the latest versions.
the download function should still work though.

I'm currently listening to some of your songs and they are very good!
I couldn't help but notice, though, that some of your links are repeated more than once. Take a look @ #s 2 & 3 and 10 & 11 to see what I mean.

This is my proposal - it is totally up to Lady Milena and FoG to decide what they want to do.
Proposal
1. FoG and Milena repost/fix the links to their final entries if they are still available. {the ones they have already}.
2. HC members who joined before the end of this contest may each make one Vote to be compiled by someone other than Leo {unless he shows up}.
3. The member with the most votes is declared the winner.
