I am blown away by the general level of talent that we have seen (& heard  ) so far!
It's not only good to see people showcasing their skills & abilities, but to also have them share a part of themselves with the rest of HC. So, to all of those who have submitted something so far...I congratulate you! 
Just a few general comments & questions on what I have seen to this point:
ChEsHiReKaT - Did you take 2 seperate pics & put them together? Or did you create the whole thing from scratch?
Antipaladin - That was a good one! Very funny. 
FoG - Interesting & unique talent...although you must have cut yourself a few times, eh?
I swear, however, that I saw that pic somewhere else before on HC.
Iris - That was really freaking good...and not just for someone who "hasn't played in a while".  I listen to alot of Classical music on the radio and that performance was right up there in terms of difficulty & skill. Especially that middle part, where the speed picks up and I can visualize both your hands flying about the piano...it was amazing & flawless! BRAVO!
kookastar - Your humour is perfect! It's relevant to HC and just crazy enough to "almost" believe. By combining altered pics and a kooky story, you made your entry top-notch in my books.
Ruby - Your drawing has nice emotion...I would love to see it in colour.
No offence to your artistic skills, but I look forward to hearing you sing...so I'm crossing my fingers for your next HDD.
Celfious - Don't worry about what it is that you are submitting...let the voters do that! Besides, I look forward to seeing what questions you will ask (& answer) yourself next week. Although, I once heard this saying that I would like to share with you:
"You are normal if you talk to yourself, but you are crazy if you answer!"
William - Good beats, bud! I love techno and your song was no disappointment. I hope you take it to the next level with something new next week.
TnT - Good story and intelligent use of humour all the way through! I can't wait to see what situation Iris finds herself in next week!
T-A - What the hell?! That sounds so familiar...did you get that from "Battleship Earth" or some other sci-fi movie? If not, it was really freaking good!
I especially like the part where you used words starting with the same consonent multiple times in the same sentence.
Milena - I'd like to say that I am jealous, but that would mean that I want to bellydance as good as you do. I guess that the best way of saying it, would be: It's awesome that you can do that!
The belly-wave was the coolest part...hands down.
Ok that's it for this week...the deadline has passed.

woock I used to know how to make those and I could make them pretty small (not that small though ) but I tried again the other day and I couldn't make one for the life of me, even with a guide  I learned how to do it in Hiroshima, you know with the 1000 paper cranes

lol thanks... No I didn't get it from anywhere just some sort of ideas put together from one viewpoint. I haven't seen Battleship Earth.
I normally say where my posts come from if they're from a movie or game or sthing like the whole Durendal thing, but nah, this isn't even necessarily futuristic. but thanks man
In case I scrape through to the next round, I'll need to get working on my next talent thing soon. I hope it's ok if I ask for some volunteers (1, 2 or 3) to request a signature (like those little picture things you have as your signature on forums, not on HC because not enough something on the server I dno ) for me to make for them on photoshop. Just say the name you want on it, any text, images, colours etc and I'll have it ready for the next talent show thing if the need arises

Yes they can! But, if an HC member wanted to vote 100 times for the same contestant, they would have to send me 100 IMs or emails.
If the HC member wanted to vote for 5 different contestants at the same time, for example, they could also do that within the same IM or email. [I would only count it as 1 vote per person, though.]
To take this to the next step; if the HC member wanted to vote 3 times for 5 different contestants, they would only need to send me 3 IMs or emails with the 5 contestants' names inside.
It's that simple!

Not yet. If you are still competing in the Talent Contest, then you cannot vote for each other. Once a contestant is eliminated from the competition, they can then vote like all the other HC members.
HOWEVER, I was planning to hold a special vote "for contestants only" the week before the finale of the Talent Contest. Basically, I was going to send an IM to all the contestants (i.e. the final 2 & eliminated ones too...yes, even RealDeal ) and ask them to pick which #1, #2, & #3 contestants did the best throughout the competition (without voting for yourself, of course...right TnT?! ).
After receiving the results, I was going to announce who won the Player's Choice Award (similar to the Miss Congeniality Award of beauty pageants) during the Final Result Post.
One final note: Although the votes got into double-digits last week, I was expecting there to be much more. So, if you all wouldn't mind "spreading the word" of this Talent Contest to other HC members when you have the opportunity (without harrassing them ); it would greatly help everyone's odds in getting votes.

This really is a short time frame to get something together every week. {do we know who was elliminated yet?}
Anyway, I was wondering if the submission day could be changed to Sunday to give us the weekend?

I agree with the sentence in bold.
I would need maybe a week to prepare a new song, and I would have to do many tries in order to upload my song to my website thing, because I have dial-up it is quite hard to do it first go because it usually stuffs up and I have to restart the internet all over again and it is very frustrating.
So could the deadline be moved to Sunday?

The deadline for Posting your entries does not mean that you cannot work on your next entry during the weekend..it only means that you have to Post it by Friday night EST.
For example: I found that it took too long recording one song at a time, week after week. So, I recorded 2 of them at a time, instead. Heck, this week I recorded 2 other songs...in addition to the one that I already Posted. This way, if ever I am in a jam next week or the week after that, I can just use one of the multiple songs saved to my web-host.
I know that it would suck to work on an entry and then not make it to the next round, but we could always have you Post it anyways...as a tribute/going-away-Post. It's not like I would force you to throw your valuable entry away simply because you were eliminated.
P.S. As stated in the Talent Contest Thread, RealDeal was eliminated for not submitting an entry last week.

That's exactly what I did. Since I have no access to pianos on campus, I recorded all of my stuff before I left home. For two days I think I played for 12 hours a day. I felt like I was addicted to it or something.
