I have updated the Master Post on Page 20. Please add your comments. Once we have finalized the abilities and skills I will add them as well.
We need a couple of things:
1. Creature stats
2. 4 more Hero bios including 2 campaign heroes (preferably one female naga).
3. History of Naga. Perhaps Baklava you could polish up on the one you did before and repost it.
4. Crepus could you write a conscise version of the Quicksand and simplify it so I made add it to the Master Post.
I would like to use the same format as the one we did for the Perfect Stronghold.

The updated version of the timeline:
NAGA TIMELINE:
Ancient age:
Unknown – Shalassa creates the Naga from water, pearls and sand. Pure and intelligent, they organise themselves in a coastal region, east of the old continent.
Origins:
Around 10. YSD – The Naga discover their gift of Hydromancy and start studying it, trying to bring it to perfection.
Around 50. YSD – All Naga priests and priestesses agree it would be best to elect the Great Seer, or the “first among the equals” to lead them. A powerful and influential High Priest, mentioned also as Sitnal, is chosen for this honourable task.
Around 80. YSD – Sitnal orders the construction of a huge city entirely dedicated to Shalassa. As beautiful as it was vast, all Naga agreed to live inside it. Employing the local human barbarians for mining gold and silver, they raise fabulous temples to their creator, Shalassa, but they also build shrines to all other dragons, making sure they neither underestimate nor neglect their power and purpose. In honour of Sitnal, the city is named Sitnalta.
Around 120. YSD – The golden age of the Naga begins. Under the leadership of Sitnal, the Pantheon is constructed, to ensure the support of all dragons. The Pantheon was a building covered with gold, gems, pearls and diamonds that occupied Sitnalta’s central square. It is told how its proportions were as huge as an entire smaller human town. Indeed, the dragons made sure that the Naga people live in harmony and joy, seeing how repsectful they are of all higher powers. They also kept them secluded from contact with the other races, preventing possible wars between them and the Naga.
717. YSD – A meteor of outrageously enormous size unexpectedly shows up in the skies, eclipsing the Sun and making the impression of a lunar eclipse. Heading towards Sitnalta, the Naga panic and try to evacuate. Unfortunately, a number of them remains in the city in the time of impact. About three fourths of the city is eradicated, and only burning ruins remain. While the remaining Naga who survived the strike try to help each other and get themselves out of the flaming town, a huge demon warband suddenly attacks and slaughters the unarmed populace. By the time the Naga warriors came to help, a lot of civilians were killed and the remaining gold from the temples was looted.
It is debated whether or not the 3rd eclipse demon “dragon hunt” was even held, or its whole purpose was the destruction of Sitnalta. Either way, the Naga, shelterless and without their fortune, start a long march to the west. Hence sadly begins the modern age for this people.
Modern ages:
743. YSD – The Naga refugees cross the seas, possibly with Shalassa’s help, and disover the isle of Hashima, covered in swamp and rainforest. Disgusted at first, in time they realise how this severely unpopulated watery lands could become their new home.
767. YSD – Discovering Lizardmen, who fled from the wizards and settled in Hashima, the Naga offer this people alliance and mutual help in order to get a good working force. The lizardmen accept.
793. YSD – After long years of building on unstable swamp grounds, the town of Nariya is raised. Although not as huge or beautiful as ancient Sitnalta, Nariya still becomes a powerful centre of activities in Hashima.
825. YSD – The naga are told of the huge snake-like beasts the primitive Lizard tribes worshipped. Intrigued, the naga send explorers to the vast gulfs of Hashima and finally discover these powerful animals. They decided to tame them and use them to their own purposes, calling them leviathans, which means “snake idols” in the mysterious lizardmen language.
836. – 840. YSD – Naga make contact with most races and kingdoms of the old continent. Diplomatic relations are established, and the island-kingdom of Hashima is accepted into the international community.
843. YSD – A lot of debates are held whether the Naga should go into the war against the demons or stay out of it until they rebuild. The rebuilding option gets chosen.
856. YSD – The religious hierarchy is once again established, and a new Great Seer, Arcelos, is elected. He decides to double the missionary efforts to bring the lizard people to the Naga religion.
951. YSD – Arcelos manages to convince the Naga that war with the demons should once again be avoided. He is succesful in this, and hence the Naga don’t confront the demons during the 5th lunar eclipse.
969. YSD – The Naga can stay neutral no longer. They are arming themselves and preparing for war with the demon armies. Seeing how the Naga are in no condition to do battle with demonic foes, especially because of heresy spreading among the lizard tribes, Arcelos orders one of the most convincing missionaries in the realm, Scelemor, to settle the Naga and calm them down, while dealing with the heretics himself. However, Scelemor is about to discover something he wasn’t supposed to discover, which will change the fate of not only the Naga, but the whole world.
For those who came later: the storyline I devised goes something like this:
Scelemor fights aggressive lizardmen heretics but finds out that they have been financed all the time by someone from the government. Due to a set of circumstances, Scelemor finds out that the Great Seer Arcelos is actually working for the demons (his mission to make the naga stay out of the conflict, thus making things easier for the demons) for a promised reward. However he doesn’t confront him alone, knowing he’s too weak to stand against the Great Seer’s powers.
Instead, Scelemor runs (ok, crawls) and starts convincing the people that the Seer works for the demons, and supporting the anti-Seer rebels. However, the Seer sees this (well, he’s a seer, his job is to see) and, knowing Scelemor has the people’s support, calls for demons to help him through a long forgotten portal somewhere in the jungle. Needless to say Scelemor defeats the demons, closes the portal, kills the Seer (preferably in a cool cinematic showdown) and is crowned as the new Great Seer. And so the justice and freedom is restored to the galaxy (rofl).
Nothing special, but it’s better than the Haven campaign anyway. Besides, it can be packaged so that it looks smooth and cool.
About campaign heroes needed, I think Scelemor and Arcelos will do the trick. I made these:
Scelemor
Scelemor was a devoted believer all his life. His dream was to help people through enlightenment and faith. Graduating as the best student of his generation in missionary faculty, he immediately undertook the quest of bringing the word of Shalassa to the primitive lizardmen tribes, through preaching and financial and medical help. After decades of work and experience, his religious resolve only got stronger, and his celebrity status makes him respected among enemy as much as friendly troops.
Specialty: Lightbringer – The hero’s units deal additional damage to undead or demon troops. The ammount of additional damage grows with the hero’s level. In addition, all blessings this hero casts upon friendly troops last 2 turns longer.
Arcelos
As the Great Seer of the naga society, Arcelos enjoys much respect and wealth. Publicly, he seeks to keep his people out of wars and wants to bring them peace and prosperity. However, it is said that he has secret, not so noble goals he wishes to achieve. In any case, he will try to reach the desired by any means necessary.
Specialty: Unquestionable loyalty – This specialty allows the hero to mix units of any alignment in his army without receiving morale penalty. In addition, all level 1, 2 and 3 units in his army gain a 20% damage bonus.
As for the creature stats, there can be only one solution to that problem: Sorcery.
Oh great Spirit of the Forums, thou who devourest people's minds and destroyest their sex life, I bid you, give me strength in performing this ritual.
I summon GnollMage the Statmaster!

I altered the timeline a little, shortening it. I also added the two Heroes Baklava made to the Master Post. Things needed:
1. Racial description
2. One more hero, preferably a female naga.
3. Crepus could you write a conscise version of the Quicksand and simplify it so I made add it to the Master Post.
4. And the Statmaster Gnollmage himself to tweak the stats of the creatures.
ps- Should I move the master post to page 1 ie... replacing my first posting on that page?

I think WarOverlord just needs to type "Masterpost is on page 20" in bold letters in the first post. As much as I remember, there's also a post on page 20 that can be confused with the master post if someone looks at it for the first time, but that isn't too much of a problem.
Kelenoth
Kelenoth has devoted her life to healing and medication, and became one of the most famous healers in the naga society while she was only young. It is said that Shalassa herself has blesses her with ability to cure even the most horrible wounds. It is no wonder that she is often employed as a war medic as much as a home doctor.
Specialy: Field medic - hero's resurrection spell gains a bonus every four levels of the hero, starting on the first one.
EDIT:
I dislike Manivald as a hero. We seriously need to change her. She's evil and her description is weird (she spreads the faith of Shalassa by killing people with a staff?). Zher Otonine is an unfitting name, it's too long and made out of two words (we could change it to simply Zher), and we should change Elussia's name (let's say to Saelu) to make it more different than Gelusia.
Btw I have a strange feeling that Zher-Otonine is an anagram

Btw. shouldnt hero have 5 points total in primary abilities? currently it has 6... 1ATT, 1DEF, 2SP, 2KN..
next... Archon has 28 defense, Grand archon 20... typo?
Elussia specialty- at level 20 she gets double damage for every spell cast... i think its too owerpowered.. Maybe change it so she loses 2% less iniative when casting destructive magic per level(capped at 50%) or something.

It was probably supposed to be 30. But the stats are still in an early beta phase.
Your proposal for Elussia's specialty is fair enough.
Btw, here's something I wrote just to add a bit soul and variety to all this, it's a story about Scelemor finding out that the Great Seer Arcelos is going to betray the naga. I hope you'll like it
Scelemor stood in front of the palace. He knew he managed to complete the task given to him earlier than anyone has imagined. However, that did not appease him.
As the lead missionary in the naga realm, Scelemor regarded the lizard people equal to his own, if a little more primitive. It pained him greatly that a number of tribes revolted.
He could not understand why the lizardmen turned back to their pagan teachings. They have been proved wrong on many occassions, by various enlighteners sent to them. They have been given generous gifts and were open-handedly accepted into naga society. There was no reason whatsoever for them to turn against those who tried to help them.
The things started getting more complicated during the last weeks. Not only did the tribes start practicing heretical rituals, but they were supplied with weapons they couldn’t possibly have made. Their numbers were great, and ferocity vast, and he had no other choice but to confront them with force. But he couldn’t convince himself in that.
He glanced at the horizon, in a desperate search for some serenity. However the blood-red dusk sky only reminded him of all those who had fallen by the hands of his zealots.
Resigning himself to this set of circumstances, he turned his head away from the dying sun and approached the palace. Two royal guards in the front bowed with respect.
“If you only knew what monster you are bowing to, Scelemor thought, passing by them and entering the building hall. His concience brutally showed him pictures of the slaughtered in his head. Watching the statues of former Great Seers while moving through the seemingly neverending hall, he thought about how hard these times were for everyone. With demons rampaging through the old continent, his fellow naga got tired of waiting and looked eager to enter the war against this otherworldly evil. The Great Seer, on the other hand, was turning his attention mainly to the internal affairs of Hashima and trying to avoid the conflict by any means possible.
“This is supposedly a cheerful moment, Scelemor tried to cheer himself up a little. “I am returning from a succesful asignment, and in a record time. I might even gain a royal title. But this did nothing to ease his inner pain.
Trying not to think about that, he finally arrived to the Great Seer’s chamber. He stopped and took a deep breath, which seemed to hve calmed him a bit. Then he reached for the huge doorknob…
However, he didn’t open the door. The Seer’s voice was heard from inside. That wasn’t so strange by itself, as the Great Seer often discussed various matters with his advisors, but this was somehow different. The peculiar thing was that the voice sounded respectful and almost frightened. He never heard that a Great Seer feared anything. In the whole naga history, no Seer ever had the need to fear. For them, fright was something that happened to other people. Scelemor decided to listen carefully, just in case.
“Yes my lord the Seer’s voice said. “The missionary is sent. No, he doesn’t suspect a thing. The fool thinks the lizards went mad on their own initiative. No! No, my lord! The voice started to sound scared. “I would never tell anyone! My loyalty to you is unquestionable, as is the loyalty of all naga to me... Do not worry, I shall keep them out of the war. I promise you… They shall not stand in your glorious way, master. A pause started, which made Scelemor wonder if he has been noticed. However, after a few seconds, the Seer continued.
“Yes, master. When I get what you promised me, I will still serve you as before. I shall never turn my back on you… my sovereign.
Scelemor’s face changed from concentrated to stunned. “How can it be possible? How could… the Great Seer… His thoughts got mixed up, but his feelings steadily evolved from confused to wrathful. He could not believe that a leader can betray his own people. “This will not pass lightly, traitor! Scelemor screamed as he opened the door widely, just to see the Great Seer Arcelos standing before an altar above which a bright red orb was floating, demonic runes written upon it. He turned around and looked at Scelemor with a surprised face.
“Preacher! I see you have returned from your little crusade…
“Do not even start! I have heard your conversation with the Demon Sovereign himself! What has he promised you? Fame? Gold? Land?
“Betrayal is a small price to pay for what I shall reach! But I do not expect you to understand.
“You will not get away with this, and you know it! The people will…
“The people are cattle! They will obey the one who feeds them, until he feeds UPON them, said Arcelos steadily.
“You financed the lizard heretics! yelled Scelemor desperately.
“Indeed. But you shall not live to tell that to anyone. And even if you do, who will trust you?
Scelemor remained speechless. The blood running through his veins seemed to burn with fury. Then the Great Seer Arcelos continued:
“Enough of this. You shall fall, just as everyone else who stands between me and my goals! Saying this, Arcelos reached towards his staff and sent an eldritch arrow towards Scelemor, who avoided it with a counterspell.
“You are more powerful than I supposed. Very well. I shall not tire myself on you. GUARDS!
Two royal guards who were staying at the front door entered the room quickly, their spears ready. “Slay this heretic for high treason! the Great Seer said.
Scelemor saw he was outnumbered and outpowered. Biting his pride, he yelled “This is not over yet! and quickly teleported himself outside the palace. The guards faced empty air.
Standing in a chamber at his homefort, and knowing he is no longer safe even there, Scelemor suddenly heard a chilling voice in his head.
“Indeed it is not, mortal. Indeed it is not.
After a few long seconds of thinking, Scelemor called his servant.
“Yes, my liege?
“Prepare my mount. Call the troops. He glanced through the window. The red sky now seemed somehow friendlier. “We have a revolution to make.

1. Anyone want to rewrite Manivald's bio?
2. Kelenoth is too much like Hsaar in which both are emphasizing on healing. I think you need to change Kelenoth. And the name sounds like a mans name. Maybe Kelena. or Kelen.
3. I changed zher-otonine to zher and elussia to saelu. ive also change the primary abilities and the archon's defense. it was a typo.

He guys, I have most of the coming weekend to myself, so I got some time on my hands. I would like to create the racial description and make the last hero. Also if you guys don't mind, I would like to rework some of the already present heroes. Some of their bio's could use some improvement. I will post the thing when I have them ready.
You've made a good story Baklava, it's a shame though that there are all kinds of weird signs through the text. Other than that it's realy good.
BTW, when did we change the name of the Hero to Hierophant ? If we are not going to use Sorcerer, wouldn't it be better to name the hero a Hyrdomancer ?

Quote: 1. Anyone want to rewrite Manivald's bio?
Manivald
Manivald was always intrigued by the ways of chaos. Considering that acts of good are often left no choice but to be fulfilled through acts of evil, Manivald, although a firm patriot and believer, possesses a kind of flexible morale and her acts, though efficient and brave, are often the matters of questionable legality. It is said that she even practices some dark, chaotic arts each day that seem to fill the units under her command with a useful, if slightly mindless frenzy.
Quote: 2. Kelenoth is too much like Hsaar in which both are emphasizing on healing. I think you need to change Kelenoth. And the name sounds like a mans name. Maybe Kelena. or Kelen.
We could change the name to Cellen, and I was thinking how she would be something like a living Vladimir counterpart. But, if you still don't like her, I can change her.
Thanks for the compliments about the story, but WarOverlord, what do you mean by weird signs? I haven't noticed any weird signs.
I also like Hierophant better, cause it's somehow fancier
Oh and btw what are our heroes riding? What are their mounts?

What weird signs I mean, in my browsers at least every sentence starts and ends with either "" or "“". That is realy weird when you read a story, it's also rather distracting.
I don't think the Heroes should ride a mount as such. Since they have a serpentine lowerbody, it's almost impossible to ride any kind of animal. I think it would be better if they were carried around on a chair by four other naga, or four lizardmen. Kinda like these dudes here:
Being carried around like that also fit the high status of the heroes in naga society.
Oh, BTW, The Cobra Sentinel description is missing a part.
OK, I'm going to try to write a new hero bio here. Here goes.
Kahrion
Being born a noble, Kahrion was pampered far to much during his childhood. He never learned how to preform any task himself, as he had always sent servants to do it for him. When he eventualy reached adulthood, he was put in charge of a small army and was given the task to drive some invaders from Hashima. His army was crushed with ease, due to his ineptitude. Miraculously, Kahrion survived and was forced to live alone in the swamps for several months. During that time he was hardend more than any military academy could. He learned how to kill prey with only his body and limbs, like the pythons he used to keep as pets, Kahrion used his long body to constrict his preys. He eventualy learned how to do this even without his physical presence. Today, Kahrion is still an army-commander, but he's far more capable than he originally was.
Constrictor: The Strangle Archer skill does a little damage during it's casting. Damage increases with every level.
(Starts with Basic Hydromancy, Basic Defense and Strangle Archer)
I will do the race-description and the other heroes during the weekend.

Quicksand and Hydromancy
Quicksand
My thought to have the area within which the quicksand is cast is that if you have a smaller potential area then you might get some quicksand squares adjacent, making some creature forced to take TWO turns crawling up from it.
Quicksand: Hero gets ability to once per battle undermine parts of the battlefield, invisible to the enemy. Enemy stepping into quicksand area loses all further movement and must spend next turn to move out.
Skills
I believe Hydromancy to be a bit overpowered in early game and for low-level creatures. In stead of taking ALL damage until the shield is used up I think it should take up to 50/65/80/90 percent of the damage dealed to creature. Maybe with a defence ability to add another 5 or 10%.
I still think an Attack ability should be to have a chance to deal damage using the Hydromancy shield as an offensive weapon. Maybe only in retaliation, but still. Say a 30% chance to do an additional 10/20/30/40 damage losing 2/4/6/8 H points.
Maybe a Dark Magic ability should be to cause enemy hero to lose one initiative until his/her next turn if casting?
Mystical leader is overpowered as well as not-very-useful. As hero starts with knowledge 2 then he/she gets a morale level of 3 whith this ability (4 if we assume some other leadership ability is mandatory first). Two more levels of knowledge and we're capped, as there is an in-game maximum of morale five. Sorry, but I don't like it at all. Maybe troops should gain one level of morale for one turn each time hero casts a spell instead?
For Logistics I still say that we should add a see-some-of-enemies-quicksand. Maybe with the addition that all own troops can treat own quicksand as solid ground.
OR
An ability for all troops to have a 50% chance of walking back one step immediately when walking into enemy quicksand, thereby not losing a whole turn.
How about Quick Casters in Sorcery? Spellcasting troops only spend 70% of initiative when casting.
The Rejuvenating Tent sounds exactly like Plague tent. Wasn't it supposed to add Hydromancy points every turn?
Heroes
Arcelos is a bit overpowered. How about his lev1-3 get a 5% damage bonus with one additional percent every second level?
Melfassir should also get one additional health point for serpent flies and cuatl, methinks.
Gelusia should have a cheaper Ice bolt and Ring of Winter. Maybe 2 mana less or so.
Manivald... Uhm.. hello? Chaos = demons... I don't like the story at all. Name and special, sure. But story? Eefvyl!
Zher-Otonine wasn't an anagram. Serotonin is a signal substance in the brain and other parts of the nervous system
Buildings
I know we already voted about this, but I still think it's not so good to have both Serpent Nestand Nesting Grounds as names. I highly recommend Serpent Hive instead.
What does the Pool of Reflectionsdo? Is it compulsory to have one to be able to use Hydromancy?
That's all for now folks!

Ok, I'm going to rework some of the current heroes. Tell me what you think of it.
Melfassir
When he was still an infant, Melfassir got lost in the dense swamps of Hashima. However, he managed to befriend a Serpent Fly who helped him get out of the swamps. Eternally gratefull, Melfassir adopted the Serpent Fly as a pet. Over the years, Melfassir started to understand a lot of the behavior of his pet and when he reached adulthood, Melfassir activly studied the Serpent Flies in the swamps near his hometown. Melfassir is now the leading authority on these creatures and his vast knowledge of them enables him to employ the Serpent Flies in his army better than anybody would dare to dream.
Lord of the Flies: All serpent flies and coatls in hero’s army have their initiative increased by +1 for every 4 hero levels, starting at the first level.
(Starts with Basic Hydromancy, Basic Logistics and Pathfinding)
Saelu
Being the daughter of a renowned Archon, Saelu has been surrounded by magic all her life. At an early age, she shown remarkable potential as a spellcaster and has been tutored by her own mother until she was ready to join the Order. Strangely enough, Saelu wasn't a verry good student; while nobody can deny the power she wields, she doesn't act out of knowledge but rather out of instinct. This lead to her often only having a vague idea of what she is doing and causing more damage than she originally intended. After having accidentally destroyed a temple, Sealu was told she would be of more use if she focused her magic on her enemies rather than her allies.
Subconscious Caster: The hero’s destructive spells have a 5% chance per level to inflict 2% more damage per level of the caster.
(Starts with Basic Hydromancy, Basic Destructive Magic and Master of Storms)
More will follow.

Here's what I've changed:
to Dragonbreath:
Fixed the Leviathan HP.
to Waroverlord:
Heirophant sounds cooler than hydromancer cuz hydromancer sounds like a guy with a water gun. You may do the description cuz ur the best at it.
to Baklava:
I've changed Manivalds bio to what u proposed. Kellen, in my opinion is unneccessary cuz Waroverlord has already written the final bio aka Kharion. I think the Nagas should be unmounted. I too see the weird symbols Waroverlord is talking bout. so that proves he isnt crazy.
to Crepus:
added quicksand. I've incorporated all your hero suggestions and fixed the rejuvination tent. that was a typo. i copied and pasted plague tent with the intent to change the last few words and didnt. oops.
i have a suggestion of scrapping nesting grounds and putting a new building to boost the growth of leviathans. i dont see leviathans as being such strong level 7 creatures and hence we can compensate on that by allowing a boost in leviathan growth. what do you guys think?
i was thinking pool of reflections would boost shield points and regeneration rate during a siege. does this sound ok?
I shall change mystical leader to :troops gain one level of morale for one turn each time hero casts a spell.

Quote: I believe Hydromancy to be a bit overpowered in early game and for low-level creatures. In stead of taking ALL damage until the shield is used up I think it should take up to 50/65/80/90 percent of the damage dealed to creature. Maybe with a defence ability to add another 5 or 10%.
Does everyone agree on this one?
This for Crepus' skill suggestions:
The Attack ability - I think there are too many shield based abilities. Maybe what you suggested can be the third and final racial secondary skill. But for an attack abilitiy we need something different.
Dark Magic ability - How bout we call it Burden of Darkness?
Logistics - I'm not really a fan of the idea you suggested. How bout Baklava's suggestion about gaining a bonus over the sea, maybe in terms of movement or attacking.
Sorcery - The ever difficult one. Quick casters is an easy way out. I'm sure we can come up with something different.

cmon, you changed
* his sex
* his story
* probably also his special ability, as some people here dont think it would fit Naga-town.
so i see no point in keeping the name.

One got frizzled up and then there was one.
One little Gnoll boy left all alone;
He went and hung himself and then there were none.
