The dead man was the undertaker of the cemetary near the prison. He wanted to help the living man to flee from prison.
The living man went into a coffin (where a corpse was placed already), was brought out of prison to the cemetary and placed beneath surface like usual. Then the undertaker should use his shovel to bring the coffin back to ground. But the undertaker died the day before, and the living man went exactly into the coffin where the undertaker was placed. So when he lighted the match, he knew no1 would be there to rescure him...

New Riddle

It is a hot summer day when TnTina is summoned to a field located several kilometers from the city centre.  A frozen corpse lies in the freshly tilled field, and strangely, there are no footprints anywhere around the body.  The closest marks are tire tracks from a tractor more than 50m away.  A farmer, who had been working in the field all day said he had not seen anyone or anything unusual.

How did the person die and end up frozen in an open field?

He wanted a free ride somewhere and hid in the wheel well of a plane.  The wheel well isn't pressurized or heated.  So when they got up high in altitude the guy quickly died from lack of oxygen and eventually froze.  When the plane approached the airport to land, it lowered the wheels and the guy fell out onto the field. (the time it takes for the plane to come down isn't long enough to thaw a frozen body)

New riddle

Ok you might know this one, but I'll give it a try.

It was friday evening, and Kooka was working late again. Pan and TNTina were out on town as usual, so there was no-one there to entertain her. As if that was not bad enough, suddenly Kooka hears a bang, and all the lights go out. Damn fuse broke again!, she thinks to herself. This is not the first time it has happened, and Kooka remembers with dismay all the running up and down the stairs to find the safety switch that will turn the lights back on. Even more frustrating, Kooka recalls that there are in fact three safety switches, of which only one can be turned on at a time, and of which only one will work for her floor in the department. Now we all know that Kooka is a bit of a lazy one, and sure enough, Kooka thinks to herself: There must be some way to save myself the trouble of running up and down all those stairs three times to find the right switch! And sure enough, after about 5 minutes of silent contemplation, Kooka exclaims a loud "Yes!" and runs out the door. The reason for Kooka's sudden satisfaction is that she has found a way that will be able to save her at least one run up and down the stairs.

Which devious plan did Kooka conceive?

Ok.
She needs two pieces of rope, two tennis balls and a little duct-tape.

1) She ties a ball to a piece of rope, and the other ball to the other piece of rope
2) She duct-tapes the ropes with balls above the lightswitches, so that the balled end of the rope is at the height of the lightswitch
3) She raises the ropes, then lets one rope go and 2 seconds later the other.
The first ball will bounce off the first switch, turning it off; and while it bounces back, the other will hit the second lightswitch.
Then Kooka goes back to her department.
There are two cases from now:
1) The lights turn on and off - that means one of those lightswitches is working (if she remembered which rope she let go first and when or what was the distance between letting the different ropes go she'll easily be able to see which one of those two is right)
2) If the light is still out then she just climbs back, takes down the balls, and turns the third switch on because that's the right one.

Interesting solution, but imagine that she works in a really tall building, so tying all that rope up and pulling it back and forth won't work. There is a simpler solution that doesn't require any gadgets.

She goes on and tries a switch. She calls herself (the phone at her floor) with her cellphone. And sees if she gets a signal. Otherwise she tries another switch, until she gets a signal.

Is the cellphone considered a gadget?

The lights are out not the phone-lines.

The real answer is: kooka is a smart girl so she sees it as a sign from above, she drops everything and goes out with pan and tntina looking for a good time.

The phone is not electrically powered, so the phone will work even if the power is out.

Nice try. Kooka is an obedient worker, however, she will stay till the work is finished.

They are hidden in the wall.

Ok, let me explain: It is simply a matter of logic, this: How can you be certain to find the right shift and go back and forth no more than 2 times at maximum? You don't need any fancy devices, or to take and sneaky actions on the way to or in the switch room.

Of course, you are allowed to do anything you want, as long as it doesn't require any special utensils or objects that you wouldn't have at hand [or, said with other words, you don't need any special objects to solve the problem].
