maybe a leprechaun

Stone Gargoyle - Obsidian Gargoyle - Uranium Gargoyle (Ability: Chernobyl-like armageddon blast)
Iron Golem - Steel Golem - Black Holem (made of dark matter, anything within 1 tile of it - half the stack gets sucked in and dies  )
Mage - Archmage - Senile old fool (Activated ability: Tells the battlefield a really long and boring story, enables them to fall asleep so we can retreat )
Djinn - Djinn Sultan - Djinn Sultana (Ability: If something tries to devour it - eg. Hydras - They will spit them out and die from the horrible taste)
Rakshasa Rani - Rakshasa Raja - Rakshasa Poppadom (Indian food vendor - supplies health to units)
Collosus - Titan - Robert Wadlow??? (meh, got nothin)

I think they are female. Why?
1. The unupgraded angel's face is rather female than male. - minor argument -depends on "personal taste".
2. They are wearing skirts.
3. The building where you can train/buy them looks like an angel woman obviously.
4. But basically in most "worlds" angels are neither male or female. So in the end... who knows?
