Hi all,
Weird thing that started happening to me about 3 days ago. When I'm browsing on the forums here my computer wants to load a pdf file, and starts to freeze. What's going on there? Is this happening to anyone else? I don't have to click anything. Just want to make sure the page hasn't been hit by a virus or something sinister.

hi all
i'm new to this community (not new to homm) and i have a question about sandro's cloak:
as far as i know the cloak makes undead (and all other mind immune) troops vulnerable to spells like blind, puppet master or frenzy, but is this only for heroes spells or for special combat abilities of units like torpor (princes), blind (unicorns), poisoning (assasins/stalkers) too?
thx in advance for answers
PS: i didn't want to make a new topic cause its only one question, so i hope this is the correct thread

Yes it makes vurnable for Heroes/Creatures Mind affecting spells/abilities too

Hi Buji.
For mind spells yes but I'm not so sure about torpor. Blind and torpor are not considered mind and poison certainly doesn't apply to the situation. What does work is puppet and frenzy.

Edit: i have another question:
the vampirism spells gives all living creatures all undead attributes, does that mean that raise dead will work? i mean that living (vampirism "blessed") creatures can be raised like with resurrection, so they will stay after battle? i hope u know what i mean

I don't know but Vampirism gets 'removed' at the end of the fight so I don't think they stay.
Never tested, but I'd like to know as well

Raise dead will permanently ressurect undead troops so a unit affected by vampirism will be permanently ressurected if you cast raise dead on it.

You can do some things with the objectives, but not all. I don't know if moving to a spot is available there. The only way to do "targets" without objectives from the Map Properties Tree, is to use scripts.

h5 tote wont uninstall
ok so i installed the game on my pc, which worked fine (except for a minor bug at the end, after it asked if i wanted ro register...i said never register, but the program never closed, black screen was still there, so i had to end process) and i tried to patch it up to 3.1. after i patched, i opend up the game, but it still said version 3.0. i tried to re install the patch, but natrually, the game said that i was already patched to 3.1
i then preceded to reinstall tribes of the east. however, after it said it was done reinstalling, i popped in teh dvd again and it automatically launched the game. i check my C: drive, yep, the space the game took up is still full (around 6 gigs, i think). so then i did something really dumb: i deleted the files manually. >_<
is there any way for me to permanently remove this from my pc and start a clean install? wheneveri click uninstall, it says it finished uninstalling, but when i pop the disk back in, it doesnt let me reinstall (just asks if i want to uninstall). help!
note: this is justa repost from the main h5 forum. sorry for that elvin.

Download EasyCleaner Then go to the removal part and delete the TotE entries.
You should be ablew to reinstall it now.

No worries, wish I could help with that. If you try from add remove programs it will probably not let you uninstall because some files(...) are missing right? Did you clear the bin right away? In case you could return the files.. Or if you can return the windows to one day back though I have no idea how it's done.

exactly, im missing files so add/remove programs woldnt work either. the recycle bin has been cleared as well...
i will try JoonasTo's method, although i already went to here http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/4611096804/m/4201081154/p/2 and tried unreal_az's method, which seems similar to what easy cleaner does...although i might have missed something.

The Map Editor doesn't save screenshots afaik, you have to do it manually:
Press Print Screen on the keyboard. Then open Paint and do Edit->Paste. Then crop the image (so that only the 3d view is on) and save it as jpg.
