Hi all!
Suppose I cast Mass Slow on my enemies in one round, and in the next cast Mass Weakness or equivalent...does the effects stack?

Yes they stack, but not two Mass Slows (or any other two spells for that matter - except Vulnerability!)

Excellent thanks.
I've just completed the original campaign and onto HOF now.
But I'm starting to worry.
I can't seem to make the mana bar appear like I use to (Original campaign) in the portraits of my heroes (map mode, bottom of the screen).
And also when I right click my enemies, I can't gauge how hard they will be! It looks like the "Easy", "Normal", and "Hard" advice is gone! NOOOO! Is this how it's supposed to be?

That's how it's supposed to be. You see, the 1.6 patch for original H5 is newer than the 2.1 patch for HoF (Nival pretty much don't care about HoF anymore) and has some extra features from TotE, like what you said (the "power" rating)
About the mana bar, did you press 'M'?

Yep I pressed M, still no mana bar...and on another note when I pressed K is was very helpfull in showing my building and troops (shortcut), now this has been replaced!

Apologies, this was originally posted as an independent thread (bad, BAD vinnie), a mistake I promise not to repeat. If it's been answered elsewhere my searches have been ineffective in locating it and I apologize for that too. Anyway:
Is there a way to modify random map generator output to allow for team games (rather than the default FFA)? I assume the map editor allows this, but my hamfisted attempts so far (simply changing the "team" value for each player to create teams) have failed miserably, so I figured I'd ask people that actually know how to use the thing.

Confused
i am confused about the wasp swarm
it can be ressited it shouldn't be right because i watched replay posted in Duel Map Tournament tread and i couldn't belive my eyes.
it is also important for Dark Renewal skill decription.
Can somebody cleanse my confusion with good explanation

I think that ALL spells can be resisted. But I'm not sure. On the other hand, Black dragons are resistant to it. and they have magic recistance. So I guess it works just as all the other damaging spells.

All spells but fist can be resisted.
Every unit will retaliate after it is attacked unless the attacker has no retaliation ability or some kind of disabling skill, say torpor, bash etc. After the retaliation you don't get more until that unit acts again. Sometimes the game 'lies' when it says there will be no retaliation, it's when it calculates that the attacked unit will die, however it may have last stand or the attack can miss due to incorporeality. Apart from those cases a unit always retaliates.
And sometimes neutrals join you but it's a bit rare. I suggest diplomacy but there are other ways to increase the chances of joining like having the same unit in your ranks, check the manual on that.

Of course. Though a warlock can probably pierce immunities with it, never tried.

Or the unit has no more retaliation "shots".
Every unit has only one retaliation shot unless it has the "Unlimited Retaliation" ability (which makes it infinite shots). But, every turn of the creature, the shots refresh (it gets a new shot if it retaliated the previous round - note that it does NOT give a new shot if it didn't retaliate in the previous round, it will never have more than one shot (unless infinite))
