Are you sure it's not Elysium 0.91.h5m.zip? Windows tends to hide the extensions.
For windows XP: Go to My Computer, Select Tools from the top menu and then Folder Options. Then Click the View Tab and untick "Hide extensions for known file types"
Then you'll be able to see/change extensions.

This is extremely weird, I can't find a single flaw.
But you said you downloaded the patches? Did you install them as well? If not, then it won't work. IIRC you need at least 1.3 for the custom maps to work.
What version does it show in-game?

but shouldnt you have a separate Maps folder inside TotE? Aside from the one in the HoMM Collectores Edition?
I have one in HoM&M V folder and another here, in the image
are you sure you got the correct one?

Can you show me the entire directory hierarchy? Where you have the Maps folder, do you also have bin, music, etc?
Also, try another map, perhaps that one has an error in it (or maybe it's for TotE?)

I have that collector edition too. I believe that you only can use maps that are made for the collector edition. But I am not sure since I have never downloaded a map for the collector edition.

ah, it's good to be back!
some questions for the enlightened:
1) how does absolute luck affect prismatic breath?
2) is it possible to get 100% magic protection vs. non-irresistable magic elemental damage spells(not counting special spell immunity artifacts/creature immunities)? if not how close can one get?
3) does arcane crystal ever explode when cast on a lava dragon's liquid fire residue?
4) can a demon lord really get both navigation and snatch or is that a bug on the skill wheel?
5) when a rune patriarch's crossfire attack hits adjacent enemies, is it possible that they will get affected by mark of fire as well?
6) does hellfire potentially trigger on each of the succubi mistresses' chain shots?

Yes.
Not sure about the 5)... all hit units get affected by "Rune of Thunderclap" (stunning >3 units in one hit is hillarious  ) for example so it wouldn't surprise me if I'd work with mark of fire aswell but I'm not sure.

1) Who said it does? Prismatic Breath's formula depends on the Luck value of the Creature, and Absolute Luck does not increase that one, it simply makes all shots lucky.
2) No. You can never reach 100% because it's not additive. Protections (P1, P2, ... Pn) are stacked according to the formula: Final_Protection_Value = 1-(1-P1)(1-P2)...(1-Pn)
4) Not sure, never tried but why would you think it's a bug?

@asheera so that means that even with absolute luck, sylvan still needs to keep their luck value up to make the most use of their crystal dragons' breath attack range...how deep is that!?
i was asking about the demon lord because if this is true, it is the only race that can get both(which is rare), and would have a significant advantage in an island hopping map

Well about the Prismatic Breath and Absolute Luck I'm not completely sure if it's hard-coded in a way to at least be maximized to its full effect... but it most certainly is no more than 5 tiles, that's what it says in the manual.

If I understand english right. By adjacent you mean people standing next to them? if so then that is impossible cause you can't range enemies standing next to you.

Are you talking about (5)? It's about enemies being adjacent with each other, not about enemies being adjacent with the Rune Patriarch.

Hey guys, I am not so good in English so bear with me.
My computer was sent for reformatting yesterday and after I picked it up today, I installed all the necessary windows and security updates. When that was done, I was going to install Heroes V Gold Edition, but every time I click on "Install Heroes V", my spysweeper would detect a spyware called "Intraspy" with a risk level of "High", and then the install shield would fail to load along with an error that pops up saying something about a required file could not be installed and access is denied.
So what is going on? How can I install the game?

If it's not a pirated copy of Heroes 5 then of course it has no malware, so either disable your anti-spyware program or let it ignore this error somehow.

It came with a nice packaged box and user manual, with the DVDs in good condition so I'm sure it's not pirated (didn't come cheap either). What I'm not sure is the intraspy haha... You sure it's safe to "allow" it in my computer?
