All you have to do is create the game yourself to tick the option. Or restart if the opponent does forget to turn it on, nobody plays without autosave online.

But autosave occur after firs turn. I need it on the very begining of the game.
This map is Arena-type. Cheaters require only few seconds to check magic guild, artifacts and than "lost" connection.

Ah so you want to save in the first turn at the beginning of the game?
Try this script (only one line):
Save("Start")
(the saved file will have the "Start" title, you can replace it with whatever you want)
And yes it works in multiplayer if you have TotE At least I hope, never tested

@Asheera
It works!
But there is problem with this script: "Start" save went to singleplayer save group. And it cannot be loaded in multiplayer game. It suppose to be in multiplayer save group.
Have you any idea how to reslove this problem?

Hmm, no
If it's something hidden in that function I have no idea, it's not documented.

Texture problems after changing RAM
Hello, im a looong-way fan of Homm series.
Anyhow, ive have all the Heroes 5 games on my computer, played all of them normaly, no problems at all, but my RAM in my computer burned or something, changed to somewhat "lesser" RAMS, and now i get Texture problems in Homm, like everything gets smudged, or how i shall say it, i need to change resolution to make it back to "good" but after a while, it becomes "smudged" again... all other games works perfectly, tried to reinstall the game, but not a difference, the Graphics are at maximum, all of them:
Anyone recognize this problem, and maybe know something, would appriciate it alot, since its barely playable

Emperor: I'm experiencing a similar problem that I haven't found the solution to yet. When I enter a town, there's a chance of the graphics going into that super crappy quality that looks EXACTLY like in your screenshot. It seems like it happens more often on bigger maps, but I don't know for sure. Fortunately, I'm able to "fix" it by simply changing the image quality or the resolution in the settings, but it's extremely annoying to have to do that every other turn.
My graphics card is an ATI Radeon 4870, I'm using the latest patches for the game and the latest drivers for my card, and all the in-game graphics settings are set on the highest possible.

Ye, have that "fix" aswell, changing resolution makes it good for a while, but just keeps changing to that crappy smudge graphics all the time.
Got a Nvidia8800GTX, latest patch aswell, but i dont think its the graphic cards, since it worked perfectly just before the RAM broke and i had to change them

I haven't changed any hardware since I built this computer a few months ago. It never happened when I was working on the original Heroes 5 campaign, happened occasionally when I started playing the HoF campaign, and is happening quite frequently now that I've started ToE. It seems to happen most often when I enter the Stronghold, and sometimes when I enter Fortresses or Necropolises.
It has never happened when I enter a Haven.

OK I did some searching around and found several other people who had the same problem.
I can't figure out where the link to the post is, so here's a link to the search results: http://heroescommunity.com/search.php3?q=texture%20problem&UserName=&date=365&sort1=posts&sort2=new1st&qpsort=yes&shorten=10000&action=search&pagenumber=5
It should be about halfway down.
Doesn't seem like anyone's found a real fix, but someone said that playing in Windowed mode should work.
Also, I'm using Vista 64-bit, how about you?

I have the same problem. Seems exiting into the audio/video settings and changing the anti-aliasing seems to fix it for a while, but it still seems to reoccur, even in the same gaming session.
Would love to know the fix.

ok Update:
i think i know a temporarly solotion to the problem-
When at the menu of the game, Put anti-aliasing and Anisotropic Filtering to "Off", then put Image Quality to "Normal" (are maybe other, but try going from Very low > Up and take the highest possible without the textures going smudged),Then when you are "IN-GAME", put up Anisotropic-Filtering to Max(or whatever you had it on), and same for Anti-aliasing
my did go up to Normal Image Quality without any problem, and i dont get the texture problems anymore now.
Sometimes after changing gaming sesion, but i can live with that until i get new ram+install new OS and all the games .
Try and message back and say if it works or not..thx
Edit: ofc thx to darryl1970 for the idea, but just changing anti-aliasing and that, didnt fix my problem

I also have the same problem:
It happens when I'm using alt+tab too often.
But there is something much worse than this problem.
When I push alt+tab once again I get this:
something like upper levlel of BUG
For me only one rational solution is to restart computer.

So with normal it works? Maybe the game detects that your computer is not strong enough to handle a higher image quality and reverts to the lowest possible?
